Seasons and weather

There are four seasons in a year: spring, summer, autumn and winter. I like spring. The leaves are small and green. 

It’s warm in spring. 

The days are longer.

Summer is the warmest season in the year. 

The weather is usually great in summer. 

The sky is blue and the sun is bright and hot.

Autumn is the beautiful season. 

The leaves on the trees are different colours – red, green, yellow and brown. Autumn is tasty season – there are a lot of vegetables and fruit.

The weather is different. It’s getting colder.  

Winter is the coldest season in the year. 

The weather is cold, snowy and windy. 

We celebrate New Year and Christmas in winter. I like all seasons.

Place of living

My family and I live in a flat.

Last year my family and I went to Lviv.

It’s a big and beautiful town. We visited the museums and cinemas.

In Lviv there are lots of churches and old buildings.

There are lots of parks too.

I liked Lviv very much.

Sometimes I go to the museums or to the zoo.
