Тема: Hobby. Free time.          

Мета:  Розширити лексичний матеріал за темою.  Продовжувати формувати навички усного мовлення.  Розвивати комунікативні здібності учнів.  Практикувати учнів у письмі.  Розвивати мовну здогадку, довгострокову пам'ять.  Виховувати інтерес до корисних захоплень.

Тип уроку: комбінований.

Обладнання: підручник О.Карпюк, друкований робочий зошит, картки для проведення вікторини «How Active Are You?», презентація, роздатковий матеріал, наочність.

Очікуваний результат: учні повинні показати свої знання по вивченій темі,використовуючи вивчений лексичний та граматичний матеріал в усному та писемному мовленні при різних видах роботи; Учні вміють працювати в групах і в парах.

Хід уроку. Procedure

I. Організаційний момент. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення.

T: Who is absent today?

Т: Today at the lesson we are going to talk about things that we usually do when we have free time. We can be busy with different occupations, but it, of course, depends on the season and weather, if we are outdoors. That's why we must know: 

What season is it today?

What month is it today?

What day of the week is it today?

What data is it today?

What is the weather like today?

The topic of our lesson is hobbies.

You’ll also practice listening to a text, developing our language skills, using active vocabulary on the topic, developing logical thinking.

Many pupils of our school have interesting hobbies. Lara is 11 years old. She likes writing poems and painting pictures. Tom is 15 years old and he has very interesting hobbies. He likes dancing, designing Internet sites and playing the piano. Robert is almost 13 years old. His hobbies are playing football and reading detective stories. Our pupils do many interesting things and they are very busy. They also love different subjects. Tom is the best pupil at Math. Lara is good at Art and Literature and Robert is one of the best pupils at PE. Their hobbies help them study well too.

When I have some free time I  usually  have  a  rest, read, draw or play

interesting  games. I  like many things but my favourite hobby is hip-hop dancing. I go to the dance club on Mondays, Tuesdays and  Thursdays. I’ve got a lot of friends there. We can dance many nice dances. We’ve got beautiful  costumes. I  love dancing very much!

• 1: People like to spend their free time near the rivers or lakes. They often go there with their friends. They can have a picnic there. They go usually there in summer but some people like to go there in winter too. Also they can boil fish soup after going there. (Fishing)
• 2: It is a very beautiful and good kind of hobby. You can visit dancing club after lessons or dance at home. If you can dance well, you can show it at the disco, at the parties with your friends! (Dancing)
• 3: People like to make new dishes. They often cook for the family and for their friends. They can present the food and lay the table beautifully. They use spices. They can boil or fry meat, fish, and chicken and make desserts. (Cooking)
