Розробка уроку з англійської мови для 4 класу по темі: " The house we have built"

Тема: The house we have built. Project work.

Мета: практикувати учнів у груповій роботі, повторити лексичний матеріал, розвивати комунікативні та аудитивні навички, створити плакат будинку з кімнатами.

Тип уроку: створення та презентація проєкту.

Тип проєкту: колективно - груповий , інформаційний ( творчий).

Матеріали: картки із зображенням предметів, які можуть бути у кімнатах, ватман із схематичним зображенням будинку, альбоми, кольорові олівці, магнітофон, текст для аудіювання, картки для виконання завдань з аудіювання.

Очікуваний результат: створення плакату будинку з різними кімнатами, презентація проєкту.

Хід уроку:

І. Початок уроку.

1. Greeting.

T. Good-morning, everyone! Today at the lesson we’ll make our project work on the topic “ The house we’ve built”.

2. Planning of work.

На дошці складається план уроку. Учні розташовують у певній послідовності запропоновані вчителем проблемні питання уроку.

T. Let’s plan our project work together. I propose you to discuss such items:

- What kind of rooms do we want to have in our house.

- What kind of house do we want to build.

- How we can place our furniture in our rooms.

- Presenting our project “The house we’ve built”.

T. Put the items in order.

P1.We can start from discussing “ What kind of house do we want to build”.

P2. Then we’ll discuss “ What kind of rooms do we want to have in our house”.

P3. The next is “ How we can place the furniture in our rooms”

P4. At the end of the lesson we’ll make and present our project.

T. But before we start I want to show how you can get good marks at the end of the lesson. Each group will get this list. Look and say do you agree or disagree.

3. Reading.

T. Read the poem and say what kind of  house wants to have a little mouse. You have 2 minutes.

Poem:  I’m looking for a house,

            Said the little brown mouse,

                          with

            One room for breakfast,

            One room for tea,

            One room for supper,

            And that makes three,

            One room to dance in,

            When I give a ball,

             A kitchen and a bedroom –

             Six rooms at all.

      Учні самостійно читають вірш.

T. Does she want to have a big house or a little house?

P1. She wants to have a big house.

T. Why do you think so?

P2. I think so, because she wants to have six rooms in it.

T. Good of you.

4. Listening.

T. So, now it’s time to work in groups. You’ve joined into 2 groups. I’ll give you the plans of the houses and your task is to listen to the dialogue and tick which house is yours? ( плани будинків див. додаток до уроку)

                         Which house is yours?

- Is this your house? It looks very big.

- It’s not so big. There are only two floors – two rooms downstairs, two rooms upstairs.

- Are all the bedrooms upstairs?

- Actually, there is only one bedroom in the house. And it’s upstairs.

- Is there a dining room in the house?

- Yes, there is. It’s downstairs. The other room downstairs is the living-room. And the sitting room is upstairs.

- Where is the kitchen?

- It’s downstairs. And the hall is downstairs, too.

- Are there two bathrooms?

- Yes, one upstairs and one downstairs. And we have a nice garden behind the house.

- You’re really lucky!

 Учні слухають діалог та в групах визначають правильний будинок.

T. OK. Let’s check. Can it be number 1/2/3? Why?

P. It’s isn’t number 2: there is no garden. It isn’t number 1: there is only one bathroom. In number 3 there are two bathrooms, four rooms and a garden.

T. OK. So, and what kind of house do you want to build?

P. We want to build a big house with two floors.

5. Revising vocabulary.

T. Now I suggest you to find 6 words in the square. You have three minutes. Do it in groups.

1. bathroom

2. hall

3. dining room

4. kitchen

5. bedroom

6. living- room

T. Are you ready? Read your words. ( групи по черзі називають слова)

T. So, what kind of rooms do you want to have in your house?

Gr.1 – a kitchen, a bedroom and a bathroom.

Gr.2 – a hall, a living-room and a dining room.

6. Making a poster.

T. So, well. Now I think it’s time to place our furniture in our rooms. Each group has some paper and your pictures which you have already collected. Now your task is:  place the furniture on  paper .

( Учні самі розподіляють хто, яку кімнату буде створювати).

7. Підготовка й проведення презентації проєкту.

а) Учні підготовили свої кімнати, після чого готують розповідь / опис кімнат.

б) Кімнати розміщуються на великому ватмані із схематичним будинком.

в) Презентація проєкту.

Створено колективний плакат “ The house we have built”.

T. Our poster has already done. Now present your rooms. Use there is / there are and prepositions of place. Кожна група презентує свої кімнати з їх описом.

T. Look at our poster. What a perfect house we’ve built!

8. Summing up.

T. Thank you for your creative ideas. Today you have shown good knowledge in grammar and lexical material. Did you like your work? Was it difficult for you? Was it interesting for you?
