Сценарій до Дня святого Валентина спрямований на формування в учнів позитивного ставлення до почуття дружби, поваги та любові. Захід об'єднує елементи гри, пісні, танцю, поезії та інсценізації, сприяючи розвитку творчості та згуртованості колективу. Метою заходу є формування в учнів поваги до культурного різноманіття світу та, читаючи поезію, прищепити любов до різних країн, їхніх культур та звичаїв.
“St. Valentine’s Day”.
День святого Валентина.
Позакласний захід для учнів 4-их класів.
Мета заходу:
- ознайомити учнів зі звичаями країни, мова якої вивчається;
- розвивати соціокультурну компетенцію учнів;
- розвивати мовленнєві навички;
- розвивати творчі здібності та естетичне сприйняття навколишнього світу;
- виховувати інтерес до вивчення традицій англомовних країн.
Обладнання: ілюстрації, декорації, святкові листівки, екран, презентація, фонограми пісень.

P.2 - Love! Happiness! Beauty! We say these pleasant words because today is a special day! It's called St. Valentine's Day!
All - Welcome to our St.Valentine's party!
P.3 - St. Valentine’s day is celebrated on the 14th of February. It’s a holiday of love.
P.1 - We congratulate the people we love on this day.
P.3 - We give them valentines, hearts, flowers, sweets and say warm words.
P.6 – The floral emblem of Valentine’s day is a rose. A white rose means "You are wonderful".
A red rose says — "I love you!" A pink rose means "Please, believe me!"
Rose without thorns means love at the first sight.
P.5 – But who was Saint Valentine?
P.4 - He was a priest in Roman times. He helped couples to get married in secret because he liked to see young people in love.
P.5 - Do you know what the symbol of St. Valentine’s day is?
P.4 - I think it’s a little boy with a bow and arrows. Cupid is his name. Let’s call him; he is the main guest of our party.
All – Cupid, Cupid come to our party!
(Cupid is coming in)
Cupid - Hello, everybody! I’m Cupid, a symbol of love! I help people to find their Valentine. I’m so happy to be with you at such interesting and romantic party. I found my Valentine. Listen what it says:
The roses are red, violets are blue,
The honey is sweet and so are you.
Have you got your Valentines?
All – No, no…..
Cupid - Are you in love with somebody?
All – No, no…..
Cupid - So, I can help you to fall in love!
All – No, no…..
(Cupid is going to shoot the arrow, the children are running away, Cupid is chasing them)
(Dance)

(Wedding Music is playing.)
All – Oh no!
(All the boys are running away, accept of a boy with a girl under the umbrella. They both are slowly going out of the stage)

Girl – Hey! Are you a fairy with those little wings?
Cupid – (pretending to be serious) Excuse me! I’m not a fairy, I’m Cupid, the master of love!
Girl – Master of love? What do you do?
Cupid – I shoot arrows to make people fall in love. But sometimes, I miss... and they fall in love with their sandwiches!
Girl – (laughs) Oh no! What do you do then?
Cupid – I let them enjoy their sandwiches. Love comes in all forms, right? But why did you cry?
Girl – (again sad) Nobody loves me.
Cupid – Who told you that?
Girl – A flower.
Girl – You are right, Cupid! I’ll give my parents hugs, write a card for my teachers and friends. Thanks so much!
Cupid – Love is everywhere, you just have to see it!
(The girl and Cupid are staying at the stage)
