Тема:  School. School subjects.

Мета: закріпити та активізувати лексичні одиниці з теми’’School’’; навчити учнів використовувати вивчений лексичний матеріал у різних ситуаціях; формувати  комунікативні  компетентності  учнів у процесі опанування іноземної мови; вчити учнів взаємодіяти у парах і групах; виховувати зацікавленість до вивчення іноземної мови.

Тип уроку: комбінований.

Обладнання: наочний матеріал, смайлики, роздавальний матеріал,мультимедійна презентація.


                                      Хід уроку:

1.The introducing part of the lesson


T. Good morning, children! I am glad to see you!

P. Good morning,teacher!

T. Today we have an unusual lesson because there are a lot of guests here.I want to ask you to be attentive and active. How are you today?

P. I am great because the weather is great.

P. I am OK because it is Friday today.

T. What is the weather like today? Can you describe it?

Ps. It is  cold. It is windy. It is snowy. The sky is grey. There are many clouds in the sky.

T. Let’s do a very interesting task. I read you the sentences about the weather, your task is to paint a picture , following my instructions. Guess, what season it is .

      It is cold. It is rainy. The sky is grey. You can see a big tree.

   The leaves are yellow, red and orange.

                                  ( Autumn)

 Introduction of the topic.

T. What are we speaking about today? Let’s  see.


T. So, what is the topic of our lesson?

Ps. School.

T. Look at your classmates. Imagine, that they are teachers. What subjects do they teach?

Ps. Nadia is a teacher of Biology.

      Sophia is a teacher of Geography.

      Yura is a teacher of PE.

      Valentyn is a teacher of History.

      Denis is a teacher of Music ( a song ).

T. There are a lot of rules in every school. We also have rules in our school.                                

                          Match the pairs:

          Warming up.

T. First of all look at the blackboard .Here you can see a crossword. Solve it, please.

T. Jim is late for school. He is sad. The boy can’t find his classroom. There are a lot of classrooms at school. Try to help him to find his classroom. (a dialogue ).


T. Now he is happy, but tired.
