Мета: Формування ключових компетентностей:

Багатомовна компетентність (Multilingual  competence)

-вміння розуміти усні повідомлення, знання лексики та граматики, розуміти  іноземну  мову,  а  також  уміти  висловлювати  власні  думки. 

Громадянська (Citizenship competence)- уміня працювати з іншими на результат.

Особиста, соціальна та навчальна компетентність (Personal, social and learning to learn competence)

вміння вчитися - організовувати своє робоче місце; орієнтуватися у часі та берегти його; доводити роботу до кінця;

Культурна обізнаність та виразність  (Cultural awareness and expression competence)- знайомство з життям та традиціями Шотландії.

Предметна компетентність - розширити лексико-граматичний потенціал , перевірити  рівень мовної та мовленнєвої компетенції за темою, вдосконалювати вміння та навички читання, аудіювання, усного мовлення. Розвивати  увагу та зорову пам’ять, спостережливість, розвивати критичне мислення та усні комунікативні уміння з опорою на наочність, удосконалювати фонетику й артикуляцію звуків.

Цілі (Objectives)  to introduce students to various aspects of British culture,

to develop students` reading, listening ,writing and communicative  skills and the skills of a team-work

to revise the topic-related vocabulary

to practice reading for detailed information

to develop a creative way of thinking, imagination , the ability to think logically

to enrich students` knowledge about Scotland,   its people and country’s beauty

to encourage students to communicate in English;

to teach students to represent information ;

to respect and understand the traditions of other countries;

to develop IT- skills and critical thinking.
