Those that grew up with the Internet wouldn’t know how they’d survive without it. When the World Wide Web first came about in 1990, no one really knew how successful or big it would have become. Everyone must agree that it has become a very important part of our life. The Internet has literally changed the way we live: do the shopping, communicate, express ourselves and get information. Currently, the Internet is killing the traditional way people get their news – printed matters, newspapers. Nowadays people can read the news, listen to the radio and watch TV right from their computers via the Internet. People are also creating their own media – including blog posts, music and videos – and sharing them with the huge audience. Besides impacting and improving our lives, the Internet is also changing the way we do business. However, with the positive changes of the Internet also come negative ones. Hackers are becoming more technologically advanced and are creating viruses and other threats to invade people’s computers through the Internet to steal their information, identity for money. Besides the question of a free Internet, there is also the question of privacy. The future of the Internet is also changing by how we connect to it.
