A fantasy
story is about magic or supernatural forces, rather than technology (as science fiction) if it happens to take place in a modern or future era.
Historical
A story about a real person or event in the past. Often, they are written in a text book format, which may or may not focus on solely that.
Cartoon
is a type of illustration, possibly animated, typically in a non-realistic or semi-realistic style.
