Patron the Brave Dog

One sunny morning, the dog Patron woke up early. His owner Jim was sick and stayed in bed.

“I must help Jim,” thought Patron. “He needs breakfast!”

Patron took a basket and went to the supermarket Class nearby. He walked proudly down the street with his tail high.

Inside the shop, Patron smelled fresh bread and sausages. But suddenly, he saw two strange people. They looked around, took some food, and hid it in their jackets.

They stole cheese and chocolate!

Patron didn’t bark. He followed them quietly. The shoplifters walked to the cash desk and tried to steal money from the cashier!

At that moment, Patron jumped in front of them and barked loudly!

“Woof! Woof! Stop!”

Everyone turned around. The shoplifters tried to run, but Patron chased them and stopped them with his paws. Then he pressed the emergency button with his nose and called the police!

The police came fast and arrested the criminals. They said,

“These two robbed three supermarkets already! And they wanted to rob the bank next!”

The police gave Patron a medal for courage, a big tasty bone, and a packet of dog treats.

Patron wagged his tail and barked happily.

“Good boy, Patron!” smiled Jim when he heard the story. “You’re my hero!”
