They’re even older than the pyramids in Egypt and according to legend, a giant called Sunsuna carried the rocks on her head from far away to build the temples. Gozo is also believed to be the home of Calypso, the nymph from ancient Greek mythology and many tourists visit Calypso’s cave situated in the north of the island.

Comino is the smallest of the three islands with a permanent population of three. There are, however, two hotels and a police station. As you can imagine, it is the perfect place for those who want peace and quiet. Around Comino there are some beautiful turquoise waters with white sandy beaches, where you can enjoy a variety of water sports. Comino is also a popular location for filmmakers and has appeared in The Count of Monte Cristo and Troy.
