A social network site is usually an online service that allows to share interests, events and ideas. 

Ukrainians are on the third place among the most active users of social networking systems. 

Contemporary social networking methods began to develop in early 2000s. 

The widely-known and popular Facebook was founded in 2004.  

Two years later, at the end of 2006 Facebook became the largest social networking site. 

The scholars investigate different issues concerning the impact of social network systems on society and youth, in particular. 

Recent studies have shown that contemporary online services provide opportunities within professional education, curriculum education, and learning.
