Students (as Trick-or-Treaters)
Narrator:
Welcome, boys and girls, to a spooky night,
Full of tricks, and treats, and Halloween fright!
Tonight, we’ll follow a group so brave,
Who’ll meet spooky creatures on their way!
(Enter Trick-or-Treaters, walking down the street with bags for candy.)
Trick-or-Treater 1:
It’s Halloween! We’re ready for fun!
Trick or treat! Let’s run, run, run!
Trick-or-Treater 2:
But wait! Look over there, do you see?
A witch is flying near that tree!
(Enter Witch flying on a broom.)
Witch:
Hee hee hee! What do we have here?
Are you afraid of me, my dear?
I’m a witch, but don’t you fear,
I only want to spread some cheer!
Trick-or-Treater 3:
A friendly witch? How cool is that!
Can we get candy from your black hat?
Witch:
Of course, my sweets, here’s a treat,
Now off you go down the spooky street!
(Narrator steps forward.)
Narrator:
The children walk, but what’s this now?
A ghost appears, with a moaning sound!
(Enter Ghost, floating around the stage.)
Ghost:
Oooooo! I’m the ghost, white as snow,
I like to scare, but don’t you go!
I have a treat for you, my friends,
And the fun of Halloween never ends!
Trick-or-Treater 4:
Thank you, Ghost! You’re not so bad.
This Halloween is the best we’ve had!
(Narrator steps forward.)
Narrator:
The journey continues, but what’s that sound?
It’s a vampire coming around!
(Enter Vampire, with a cape and fangs.)
Vampire:
I am the vampire, dark as night,
But don’t worry, I won’t bite!
Instead of blood, I offer candy,
For Halloween, that’s much more handy!
Trick-or-Treater 5:
Thanks, Mr. Vampire! You’re quite nice,
Your candy is better than any advice!
(Narrator steps forward.)
Narrator:
As they walk on, who do they see?
A pumpkin grinning from ear to ear, happily!
(Enter Pumpkin, dancing.)
Pumpkin:
I’m a pumpkin, round and bright,
I glow with a friendly light!
Here’s some candy, don’t be shy,
I’m the happiest pumpkin you’ll ever spy!
Trick-or-Treater 6:
Thank you, Pumpkin! We love your grin,
Let’s continue our Halloween spin!
(Narrator steps forward.)
Narrator:
The kids keep walking, who’s next to meet?
A skeleton with dancing feet!
(Enter Skeleton, dancing.)
Skeleton:
I’m a skeleton, all made of bones,
But don’t be scared, I won’t moan!
Let’s dance together, all in a line,
This Halloween is so divine!
(All students dance together for a short moment.)
Narrator:
The children have met creatures galore,
But one last treat waits in store!
A wise old owl, with eyes so bright,
Will guide them home through the night.
(Enter Owl, flying softly.)
Owl:
Hoo hoo! I’m the owl, so wise and kind,
I’ll help you home, just follow behind.
Halloween is fun, but now it’s late,
Time to rest and celebrate!
Trick-or-Treaters:
Thank you, Owl, for showing the way,
This has been the best Halloween day!
Narrator:
And so, the night comes to an end,
With happy memories and new friends.
Happy Halloween to one and all,
Let’s cheer, and have a ball!
---
(All characters bow together.)
Everyone:
Happy Halloween!
