Aim: Активізувати лексичний матеріал з теми.

Розвивати мовленнєві компетенції.

Розвивати навички читання та монологічного ( діалогічного ) мовлення. Активізувати використання модального дієслова to have to. Формувати навички усного мовлення. Тренувати учнів у читанні тексту за темою урока.

Формувати позитивне ставлення до вивчення англійської мови. Виховувати вміння працювати в групах, знаходити шляхи вирішення проблем, що виникають.

Обладнання: картинки, дидактичний матеріал.

Хід урока.

3.               The topic of our lesson is “ We Study English”. Today at the lesson we shall try to understand why English is important, and we shall try to make English our bridge not a wall. That’s why the motto of our lesson is “ Let’s Study English and Let’s Make it Our Bridge Not a Wall!”

First of all I want you to unite into groups. You’ll get points for the tasks;

Hello, Kids!

I’m captain Vrungel. I was invited to your lesson. But my ship couldn’t get to your town. Something is wrong with it. But I want to tell you about myself. I am a captain of a big ship. I visited many countries. I know English well. But many years ago I didn’t know English and I had to study it. Because people in many countries speak English.

Speaking with natives tribes I had to apply efforts to understand them. And my first task is:
