   Dear Friends!

We are very glad to see you here.  Today we are having a competition, an English quiz and each of you will take part in it as a member of a team. Today we will play.

    We will work in two teams. We hope it'll be rather interesting for you and you'll have a good time.

     So, be attentive, listen to all the questions and try to give the right answers.

 We wish you good luck and hope for your active participation.

Task 1

Guess the word one point for the  correct answer

Task 2 “The Phone Number”

 T: I need 2 representatives from each team. The task for the first pupil is to say the phone number to your partner. And your partner has to write it down on the blackboard. The team will get two points for the correct written phone number.

 Task 3. “Mime Game”

 T: And now let’s have a small pause and play the “Mime game”. You will take the card with the word and your task is to mime it. It may be an action or an animal.

And your team should guess.

Task 4 .“My favourite letter”. 

The next competition is called “My favourite letter”.  I shall give you letter [ S ] and your task will be to write as many words , as you know,  which begin with this letter. For every word you get 1 point.
