Тема: « I can paint beautifully»

Мета: активувати ЛО з теми «Дозвілля та відпочинок», навчитися утворювати прислівники способу дії, особливості утворення неправильних прислівників; продемонструвати соціокультурні зв’язки; розвиток творчих навичок учнів;  виховання в учнів наполегливості та старанності.

Обладнання: мультимедійна дошка, мольберти з малюнками, картки з лексичними одиницями.

Методи та прийоми: робота в групах, робота в парах, рольова гра, випереджувальне завдання

Lesson Plan

І. 1)Greeting

 2) Warm up

- You have got pieces of paper on your desks. You should write as many ways of spending your free time as you can. (2 min)

- Call your words out loud

(teacher places  the cards on the blackboard)

ІІ. Aim

• Do you like drawing? What can we draw? (people, animals, nature)
• Look! It`s a portrait. A picture of a person is a portrai.
• What is a portrait?
• To draw well you should practise hard. (Patric practised hard and now he is a great artist)
• And one more word – softly. (Play the music more softly please I have a headache).

ІІІ. Presentation.

1. SB p 28 Vocabulary  CD 33  1) Listen to and follow along then repeat
2. Activity 1    1) Before reading –Where are Mark and Fay?(They are in Art class)

  - What are they doing there?(they are drawing portraits)

  - How do you think, what`s happening?(Mark is trying to draw a nice portrait but he can`t)

2) Listening and reading(CD 34)- Listen to and follow along in your books

3) Role play –  Our students`ll demonstrate this dialogue

4) Grammar. –Pay your attention to grammar box at the top of page 29

  1) Reading the ruler Adverbs of manner

  2) – The adverbs of manner are formed by adding –ly

        - We use them to describe an action

   - open your SB on page 95. Lets read the grammar point.

ІV. Practice

Work in groups

 - Now you`ll work in groups.  Each group  has got an envelope. Take out parts of words and make the adverbs of manner. Be attentive, there are irregular adverbs too. (2 min)

Time for fun “Deep, deep, deep”
