Тема: Людина.

Тема уроку: Час історій.

Тип уроку: Формування навичок сприйняття на слух, зорового сприйняття та усної взаємодії.

Цілі вчителя: формувати навички сприйняття на слух, зорового сприйняття та усної взаємодії по темі «Людина. В минулому», практикувати вживання Past Simple, вчити розуміти основний зміст аудіотексту;

розвивати мовну здогадку та мовленнєву реакцію учнів, розвивати здатність мовного самоконтролю, увагу, пам'ять, логічне мислення та культуру спілкування учнів;
виховувати самостійність, старанність.

Очікування учнів: розпізнавати лексику на рівні фраз та тексту, використовувати її у письмі та мовленні, висловлюватися по темі, розповідати про події в минулому.

Обладнання:   аудіозапис, презентація Power Point, малюнки та постери до теми, роздатковий матеріал.                  

 

Хід уроку:

 

Організація класу.

 

1. Привітання.

• Good afternoon, pupils!
• Good afternoon, teacher!
• I am glad to see you! Please greet the guests of our lesson.
• Good afternoon, dear guests!
• Sit down, please!

 

2. Повідомлення теми та мети уроку. (PowerPoint Presentation. Slide 1, 2.)

T: -. Today we’ll continue speaking about past actions using Past Simple and vocabulary from the previous lessons. You will listen to a story, read it, practice your speaking and writing skills. By the end of the lesson you will be able to operate the vocabulary on our topic and some new words, speak about past actions.

 

3. Уведення в іншомовну атмосферу. Виконання пісні. Перевірка домашнього завдання (вивчення лексики).

T: - Let’s start our lesson with the song “Friends from around the world”.

• Where are you from? What other countries do you know?
• At our previous lesson we spoke about an ancient country with hot weather, mummies and pyramids. Your hometask was to learn new vocabulary. Let’s check it! (PowerPoint Presentation. Slide 5, 6.)

 

T:  -    Well done. What country did we speak about at the previous lesson?

Ss: -    Egypt.

T:  -    The people of what nationality live there?

           What can you see in Egypt?

            What did Egyptians put in the tombs?

            What is the name of the animal with one hump?

            Where can people ride camels?  (Slide 7.)

4. Повторення граматичного матеріалу теми.  

T: - Open your copybooks and write down the date. Today is Friday, the nineteenth of  November. Your task is to write the sentences in Past Simple. You have 2 minutes to do this task.

 Потім учні виходять читають речення і записують на дошці неправильні слова з дужок в другій формі. (Slide 8.)

 

5. Активізація лексичного матеріалу теми: (введення нової лексики з опорою на ілюстративний матеріал)

• T: - Today you are going to listen and read a very interesting story. Look at the screen and guess what it is about. (Slide 9.)

 

• T: - There are some new words in the story. Read after me, please!

(пояснення значень нових слів) (Slide 10.)

 

 

6. Формування навичок сприйняття на слух.

Pre-listening.

T: - Have  a look at the pictures. (Slide 11.)

• What is the story about?
• What are the children doing in picture 1/2?
• Where did they go?
• What did they see?
• What happened to the prince?, etc.

 

While-listening.

T: - While listening point to the corresponding pictures of the story.

 

Post-listening.

T: - What are the children’s names?

• Where are they going?
• What is the teacher showing to them?
• Whose mummy is it?
• How did he die?
• Whose ring is it at the museum?

T: - Open your Student’s Books to page 42 and read the story.

 

 

7. Зарядка для очей (здоров’язберігаючі технології).

T: - I see you are tired a bit. Let’s have a rest and move a little.

1. Turn away from your telephone or computer. Blink quickly and slightly for 30 seconds. (Відверніться від телефону чи комп'ютера. Швидко і легко кліпайте очима протягом 30 секунд).
2. Close your eyes tightly for 5 seconds, then open them wide. Repeat this 8-10 times. (Міцно закрийте очі на 5 секунд, потім широко розкрийте їх. Повторіть це 8-10 разів.)
3. Put your thumb up and look at your thumb nail. Slowly bring your hand to your nose and take it away again. Repeat this 10 times. (Підніміть великий палець вгору і подивіться на ніготь великого пальця. Повільно піднесіть руку до носа і знову відведіть. Повторіть це 10 разів.)
4. Look at the picture and move your eyes, repeating the pattern of the infinity sign. Start at the center. Repeat 3 times. (Подивіться на малюнок і рухайте очима, повторюючи візерунок знака нескінченності. Почніть з центру. Повторити 3 рази.)
5. Close your eyes for a few minutes and imagine something pleasant to relax. Then rub the palms of your hands until they become warm. Cover your eyes with your hands. After a minute, open your eyes. (Закрийте очі на кілька хвилин і уявіть собі щось приємне для відпочинку. Потім потріть долоні, поки вони не стануть теплими. Закрийте очі руками. Через хвилину відкрийте очі.)

 

8. Формування навичок усної взаємодії.

Post-reading.

T: - Read the sentences and say if they are true or false. Correct the false ones. (Slide 14.)

 

 

• Children went to the museum on Tuesday morning.  – False (Thursday)
• They went there by bus.   – True.   
• Archie and his classmates saw a mummy of a king. – False. (prince)
• A mosquito bit him and he died.  – False. (a snake)
• He was 12 years old. – True.
• His family put a cat mummy in his tomb. – False. (a ring)
• Valerie’s father bought her a ring for her birthday. – True.

 

9. Writing.  Виконання вправ в робочому зошиті. (Slides 15, 16.)

T: - And now open your workbooks to page 28 and do some exercises.

10. Feedback. (Slide 17.)

T: -  How was the story? (interesting, boring, funny, scary).

• Do you like it? Choose a smile and put a tick or a plus above or under it.

 

11. Homework. (Slide 18.)

T: - Open your daybooks and write down the hometask. You are:

• SB p. 42-43, read and retell the story
• (4-5 sentences);
• WB p. 28, ex.4 – write the answers

 

12. Summarizing.

T: - What have you learned at the lesson today? What can you do by the end of the lesson?

Ss: - I can read and understand texts about Egypt.

      - I can write and speak about past actions.

      - I can use Past Simple.

 - I can use new vocabulary.
