Урок "Parts of the body"

                     Topic: “The Parts of the body”                                      (form 2)

Мета: Активізувати вивчену лексику по темі «Опис зовнішності», активізувати граматичний матеріал, тренувати учнів у вживанні виразів have got/ has got у мовленні.

Розвивати навички читання, аудіювання, усного та писемного мовлення, фонематичний слух учнів, логічне мислення, навички роботи з прочитаним текстом.

Виховувати  культуру спілкування, повагу до співрозмовника.

Тип уроку: комбінований.

Обладнання: «English» Оксана Карп’юк (підручник (PB), робочий зошит(WB)), тематичні малюнки, флеш-картки.

                                               Хід уроку:

I. Початок уроку.

1. Організаційний момент. Привітання

Pupils:    Good morning, good morning,

               Good morning, good morning, to you

              Good morning, good morning,

              I’m glad to see you.

T: I’m glad to see you, too. Sit down, please. How are you?

P1: I am fine. How are you?

P2:…   Учні ставлять питання один одному – відповідають.

2. Введення в іншомовну атмосферу.

  T: Today we have an unusual lesson. You can see many guests. Do you want to say  “hello” to each other and to our guests? …. Let’s sing our  “Hello song”

Співають пісеньку

 And many fairy-tales characters want to visit us but they are lost at the stations of our trip. Let’s help them learn news words, write them and describe their appearance. Do you want to have new friends? Then let’s start our trip. 

T: Now we stop at the "Phonetic Station". We can meet Pinocchio there. Pinocchio has got a letter but he cannot read. Let’s help him. Ok?

Ch: OK. 

T: Well. When you hear words with the sound [m], clap your hands. Аrе you ready?

Ch: Yes, of course. 

T: Hello, family, dog, book, mummy, black, milk, mouse, cat, my, small, frog, fish, grandmother, ten, chimp, swim, horse. 

T: Very good. Now repeat after me words with a sound [m]. Family, mummy, milk, mouse, my, small, grandmother, chimp, swim. 

T: Take our new friend and continue our trip.

II. Основна частина уроку 

1. Повторення частин тіла, використовуючи флеш-картки.

T: Now we are at the "Station of the Words". We should help Fox to remember  few  words. Look at the screen and repeat after me words: head, hair, face, nose, ear, eye, mouth, neck, hand, finger, arm, feet, toe, leg, shoulder, knee.

Т: Find as many words as you can in this word chain: Hairlegarmeyehandearnosemouthheadfingertoe.

 Look at the blackboard. You can see a girl there. What is this? (Вчитель показує обличчя, ніс, око і вухо, а діти називають по-англійськи).

Т: This girl is lovely and pretty.

T: Great job. Take our friend and go on.

T: Our next station is the “Station of Speaking”. And our Dunno needs help, too. He cannot describe appearance. Ми прибули на «Станцію говоріння» і тут нашої допомоги потребує Незнайко, бо він ще досі не вміє описувати зовнішність. Maybe we help him?

  Open your pupil’s books at page nine and six. Look at task one. Look at the pictures. What do you see? Що зображено на малюнку? Скажіть англійською.  Say in English. (A soldier, a monster, a clown, a mermaid). Great! Let’s speak about them.  Ваше завдання – назвати, що зображено на малюнку, й описати зображення.

(Picture 1.It is a soldier. It has got  two eyes, two ears, one nose, one mouth, one leg. He has not got one leg)

Let’s speak about these toys.

Учні описують іграшки.

T: Well done. Let’s speak about your toys. Do you like toys?  What toy did you describe at home? Start, please.

(Учні описують свої малюнки)

Т: Let’s go on. We come to the "Station of Writing".  At this station you should help Wise Owl make up and read sentences. (WB task1, p.49)

Open your workbooks ay page four and nine. Read the task. Що потрібно зробити в завданні, (Написати речення). Правильно. Але вам потрібно спочатку скласти їх з тих слів, які ви бачите у завданні. Read the first line of words. (Учні читають слова). Яке речення ми можемо скласти з цих слів? Що воно означає? (I have got a ballerina. – У мене є балерина.) Very well! Let’s read next line of words.        Are you ready?  Read, please.    

T: So, we have a new friend. 

Т: OK. Now we are at the "Relaxation Station". Do you like to relax?

Ch: Yes, of course. 

T: Our clown would like to have a rest but he cannot learn physical exercises. Let’s show him how we can relax. (PB.task 4, p.97)

2. Фізкультхвилинка    Hands up! Hands down.

   Т: And now we arrive to the "Station of Reading". There we can meet Carlson and he should read a text in task 3, p.97. Let's help him. ОК? 

Ch: OK.    (Читання тексту)

T: We’re at the “Station of Listening”. At this station you should help Winnie the Pooh . Pupils listen to and draw what you hear. I give you these papers.  Let’s draw a little monster.

 Dictation:

 “I’m a small monster. I’ve got a big head. I’ve got three eyes. I’ve got two noses and one big mouth.  I’ve got four ears. I’ve got long hair. I’ve got four hands and six legs.       (учні розмальовують монстра)

ІІІ. Заключна частина уроку 

Т: We finish our trip at the "Poem Station" and our last friend will be Straw bull.  Ми закінчимо нашу подорож на «Поетичній станції» і останнім нашим другом буде Солом'яний бичок. Не can't learn the songs and doesn’t do exercises. Help him. (“Head, shoulders, knees and toes”)

T: Very good job. We have got friends. They are very happy. Thank you
