to teach them to take care of the nature around,
to cultivate love and respect to a Woman – a mother, a granny, a sister.
Materials: pictures and flashcards, recordings, spring flowers
The procedure
(Dancing slowly, the Spring is coming in. she is wearing a beautiful green dress decorated with spring flowers)
(the Spring is dancing to music again, leaving artificial flowers on the floor)
SPRING: So, winter is over, March comes.
April and May are also spring months.
(The Spring Months are coming in. They are dancing together with the Spring)
MARCH: March brings sunny days and winds.
So we know that spring begins.
APRIL: April brings the warm and the weather sweet.
We see daisies at our feet.
MAY: May brings flowers, joy and grass
And much interesting for us!
(The Spring and the Months are dancing together and going away)
(The pupils sing a song “Spring cleaning”)
A robin is singing: “Spring is here!”
Then, at my feet, a violet blue
Is quietly saying: “I’m blooming for you!”
BIRD 2: Do you know the names of spring flowers? Look at the “Word Search Table” and try to find them there. Look cross and down, upwards and backwards.

FAIRY: I am the Fairy from the Magic Valley. There are lots of beautiful flowers with heavenly odor. The birds are singing pleasant songs. Little bright humming birds are dancing above the flowers. They are playing with butterflies flying around. Let’s go together to my Magic Valley!
(The Fairy and the Flowers are dancing and coming to the table “Magic Valley”)
(The pupils are “catching” the “butterflies” with tasks)
PUPIL 1: Spring is rich on holidays and one of them is the Women’s Day. We celebrate it on the 8th of March. On this day we congratulate our beloved moms, grannies, aunties, sisters, teachers and all women over the world. We wish them good health, much happiness and love. Today we are glad to see them at our party and greet on the occasion of the coming holiday.
PUPIL 2: The dearest of all women are our Moms.
M – is for million things she gave me.
O – means that she is growing old.
T – is for tears she shed to save me.
H – means for her heart of purest gold.
E – is for her eyes with lovely shining.
R – means right and right she’ll always be!
Put them all together:
They spell “MOTHER”,
A word that means
The world to me!
PUPIL 3: Who fed me when I was a child,
And hushed me in her arms so mild? – My mother!
PUPIL 4: Who sat and watched my childish head,
When sleeping in my little bed? – My mother!
PUPIL 5: When pain and sickness made me cry,
Who looked upon my heavy eye? – My mother!
PUPIL 6: Who dressed my doll in clothes so gay,
And taught me often how to play? – My mother!
PUPIL 7: Who ran to help me when I fell,
And would some funny stories tell? – My mother!
PUPIL 8: And can I ever stop to be
So loving and so kind to thee
Who was so kind to me – my mother?
PUPIL 9: And when you’re sick and old and grey,
My healthy arm will be your stay,
And will calm your pains away, my mother!
My dear, dear Mummy,
Let me kiss your face.
I want you to be happy
Today and always!
Be happy, be happy
Today and always!
Be happy, be happy
Today and always!
My dear, dear Mummy,
I love you very much!
I want you to be happy
On the 8th of March!
(The pupils give flowers, pictures and small presents to their mothers. The party is over.)
