Daily routine

 

Class:6 (textbook: Prepare 6, p. 14)

Level: 11-12- y. / A1+ 

Topic: Daily routine

Overview: Before: 1.watch a vocabulary video Daily Routines in English (3-5 minutes). 2. Create Your Own Routine. Write down 5 sentences or draw pictures about your own daily routine. For example, (Students will need to bring this to class.)

During: 1. Warm-Up 2. Vocabulary Review 3. Listening  4. Speaking Activity: Describe Your Routine

After: Video Reflection. Students record a short video (1-2 minutes) describing their daily routine.

Aim: - students will learn vocabulary and expressions related to daily routines.

  •          students will be able to describe their own daily routines, improve their listening skills.

Autonomy: watch video, create project

Time: 45 min

Resources: Flashcards of daily routine activities, pre-class video, class audio, whiteboard and markers, digital devices

Instructions for Students (Homework):
Students should complete the following tasks before the class:

  1. Watch a Video. Video (vocabulary): Daily Routines in English (3-5 minutes). Learn new words and colocations.
  2. Create Your Own Routine. Write down 5 sentences or draw pictures about your own daily routine. (Students will need to bring this to class.)

 

Produce:

1. Warm-Up (about you p.14) Quick class discussion

2. Vocabulary Review (wordwall, quizlet, flashcards)

3. Listening. (audio 16, Prepare 6) Ex. 3 p. 14

4. Speaking Activity: Describe Your Routine

 

Post lesson task

Students record a short video (1-2 minutes) or presentation with real photos describing their daily routine and upload it to the class forum for feedback from the teacher and peers.
