Цілі:

         Практична: продовжувати вчити учнів розповідати в усній та письмовій  формі про природу та пори року; продовжити розвиток умінь аудіювання, говоріння в межах теми;

Освітня: поглибити знання учнів з теми „ Seasons “.                                              

                 Розвиваюча: розвивати пам'ять, увагу та мислення.     

        Виховна: виховувати бажання піклуватися про природу, берегти її.

Обладнання уроку: аудіозапис.

Хід уроку

             Етап 1. Підготовка учнів до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення. Привітання і повідомлення теми та мети уроку.

Мета: залучити учнів до роботи .

Прийом 1. Вітальна бесіда з класом.

T: Good-morning, pupils! I am glad to see you. You can take your seats. Let’ start our lesson. The topic of our lesson is “Seasons“.

Етап 2. Мовленнєва зарядка

Мета: введення учнів в мовне середовище за темою уроку

Прийом 1. Проведення гри

T: Now let’s play the game. I think of some words from our topic. You guess it.

Summer, season, flood, bloom

Етап 3. Перевірка домашнього завдання

            T: Let’s check your homework. (Ex.3, 4 p.179)

       Етап 4. Говоріння

       Мета: розвивати навички спілкування

       Прийом 1. Відповіді на запитання

       T:  Open your books on page 180. We do exercise 1.

            Ask and answer the questions.

1. In what month does it often rain?
2. In what season are the trees not only green? What colours are they?
3. Do you often play indoors in autumn?
4. Do you like autumn? Why?
5. What changes in nature do we have in spring?
6. What is your favourite season?

Прийом 2. Складання розповідей     

     T: Now we will do exercise 4 on page 181. In a group talk about your most favourite month of the year. Use the example below.

  Етап 5. Підготовка до аудіювання

  Мета: підготувати учнів до сприйняття інформації на слух.

  Прийом 1. уведення нової лексики

   T: Before listening I tell you some words which are unknown for you.

     Berry – ягода

     Nest – гніздо

     To blossom – цвісти

    To blow – дути

    Mild – м’який

  Етап 6. Аудіювання

  Прийом 1. розвиток навичок аудіювання

  T: Listen and guess the season.

1. What a lovely day. The sun is bright. The trees are blossoming. The days are already not so short and nights are not so long. Look at the sky. Birds are coming back from warm countries. They will make their nests here: in the parks, gardens and forests. Soon their squeakers will appear. Children make bird-houses for them. They play more outdoors now.
2. Bill looked out of the window and saw a white carpet on the ground. The trees have snowcaps on. The people wore fur coats. Bill dressed quickly, he took his sleigh and renowned: “Oh, how frosty”. He met Lily and Tom near the lake. Come and sleigh with us – shouted the children.
3. Rosy is sad. She can’t play outdoors today. She is sitting near the window. She is looking at the rain. It is raining the trees and truths of houses. The sky is grey with heavy clouds. The trees are standing sad just like Rosy. There are no birds in the trees. There are no children under the trees, only the wind is blowing hard.
4. This is a season full of surprises. Go to the forest and you will have a basket full of mushrooms and berries. Go to the river and there is another surprise: fish that you catch. You can do many things outdoors from morning till night. The days are long now, birds sing happily in the trees. You can ride a bike, play badminton. You can swim in the river or sea. That’s great.

T: Now let’s listen again and answer the questions.

1. Do we go to the seaside in autumn?
2. Do we go skating in winter?
3. Do we gather mushrooms in winter?

7. Do we pick apples in winter?
