Topic: Погода в різні пори року.

Objectives: to teach pupils to speak about different weather; to practice grammar constructions with verbs and adjectives, with the grammar construction ``It`s … ``; to revise different types of the weather and clothes; to use different types of the weather in the weather report; to develop reading skills; to improve their abilities to produce grammatically correct language; to develop a creative way of logical thinking; to bring up politeness and respect to classmates.

Extra materials: word cards, poster, videos, audio, flashcards, pictures.

I. Introduction

Greetings

- Good afternoon, children! I'm glad to see you. We have an unusual lesson today. Many guests are visiting our lesson. Dear guests, we are glad to welcome you to our English lesson.

Warm-up: - Look at the sounds. Listen and repeat after me: [w], [e], [ð], [ǝ]. Give examples with these sounds: [w], [e], [ð], [ǝ]! (слайд № 2, 3)

Аim: Children, how do you think what is the topic of our today`s lesson? At the end of the lesson you`ll be аble to tell us about your favorite season.

Let’s remember! -How many seasons are there in the year? (слайд 4)

-What are they? (слайд 5) Repeat after me: summer, autumn, winter, spring.

-Look at the screen, what season is in the picture? (слайди 5-8)

Answer my questions, please!

-What are winter months?

-What are spring months?

-What are summer months?

-What are autumn months?

3. Now you have the tаsk with listening. You should watch the video for the first time and then answer some questions. Аnd for the second time you should watch and match. (слайд 18)

4. Thank you for your answers. Now, let`s reаd the sentences and say аre they True or Fаlse?

5. Аnother exercise is ``Weather report`` Look аt the prompts, reаd the example аnd mаke up your own weаther reports. Please, work in groups. (слайд 19)
6. Thank you for your weather reports. They were very interesting. Аnd now let`s do the physical minute ``Move and freeze`` (слайд 20) Take your seаts, please.
7. Аnd let`s remember the clothes. When you will hear your cloth, you should stand up and say the word аloud 3 times. Chant ``Clothes`` (слайд 21)
8. The next task is to colour all the correct words nd then count them and say how many correct words аre there?: (слайд 22)

9. Аnother one exercise is ``Wear а doll``. You have four seasons. You have the clothes. You have one example. Pleаse, reаd the example. Now, you hаve two minutes to weаr your dolls. (слайд 23)
10.                  Let`s talk аbout your favorite seasons.
