Цілі:
навчальна: актуалізувати лексику за темою, практикувати учнів у вживанні тематичної лексики, розвивати навички монологічного та діалогічного мовлення та тренувати в читанні та в аудіюванні;
розвивальна: розвивати комунікативні навички, мовну здогадку,
уяву,пам’ять, увагу, творчість; вміння самостійно працювати; умінню
спілкуватися, швидкість реакції, вміння працювати у групах;
виховна: прищеплювати учням культуру здорового харчування; сприяти загальнокультурному розвитку учнів; підвищувати мотивацію до вивчення англійської мови.
Обладнання: тематичні картинки, словники, відеофільм “Food”, роздатковий матеріал.
ХІД УРОКУ
І. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення.
1. Greeting and aim. Привітання й повідомлення теми та мети уроку.
T: Good morning, children! I’m glad to see you at our lesson. Today’s topic is “Food and Drinks”. You will practice using the words on topic and improve your speaking, listening and reading skills. Now let’s start our lesson.
Тoday we’ll have an unusual lesson. You can see two teams. They’ll have lots of interesting tasks. Let’s see who will be the first.

T. Today we’ll talk about food. We’ll discuss healthy and unhealthy products and, of course, will find out what food we should eat.

Розповідь команд про здорову та нездорову їжу.
In order to stay healthy it is important to have a balanced diet — in other words, food that contains something from each of the three main groups of food. These groups are protein, fat, and carbohydrates. You find protein in lots of food, for example meat, fish, nuts, cheese and milk. It helps your body to grow and to be healthy and it gives you energy. Fat gives you energy but don’t eat a lot — it’s bad for you. There are a lot of fatty foods that come from animals, for example milk, cheese, butter and meat. Carbohydrates give you more than 70% of your energy. Bread, pasta, cereals, fruits, and vegetables such as potatoes and cabbage all contain lots of carbohydrates. Fruits, vegetables, beans and nuts, brown bread have fiber. It doesn’t give you energy but it fills your stomach when you are hungry. There are many different vitamins and minerals. They help our body be healthy. You can find vitamin B in eggs, nuts, milk, meat and cereals. It helps our bodies process the foods we eat. Vitamin C is in lemons, oranges and broccoli. It’s good for our bones and teeth. There is vitamin D milk, eggs, butter and cheese. It helps our bones grow properly.
A lot of people eat fast food almost every day because they find it very tasty. Sometimes they eat it because they are busy and don’t have time, or are too tired to cook.
Firstly, fast food such as burgers and chips contain a lot of fat and salt. People shouldn’t eat fast food very often as this is bad for their health. We need to eat a plenty of fresh fruit and vegetables as well as fish and meat.
Secondly, fast food is very expensive. The money some people spend on fast food in one week is enough to buy fresh food for two weeks.
On the other hand, some people say that eating some people saves time. They can cook during the weekend so they have enough food for the whole week and so it’s a way busy people can avoid cooking during the working week.
Although fast food is usually tasty and convenient, people should try to prepare their own meals and eat only healthy food.
