Тема: «Види спорту»

Практична мета: вдосконалювати навички вживання нових лексичних одиниць теми в діалогічному мовленні; тренувати у вимові звуків; вдосконалювати компетенції читання та говоріння; збільшувати обсяг знань про лінгвістичну специфіку мови країни, що вивчається; вдосконалювати уміння будувати своє мовне висловлювання;

уважно стежити за презентованою інформацією, ефективно співпрацювати під час роботи; мотивувати брати участь в іншомовному спілкуванні; розвивати всі види мовленнєвої діяльності;

виховувати вміння сконцентруватися, слухати інших; формувати доброзичливу атмосферу  в класі.

Очікувані результати: описувати, розповідати, характеризувати, запитувати та надавати інформацію про спорт, розпитувати з метою роз’яснення та уточнення інформації про улюблені види спорту, висловлювати свої враження, почуття та емоції стосовно занять спортом, аргументувати свій вибір, точку зору.

Обладнання: підручник, аудіо запис, картки із завданнями, роздатковий матеріал.

І. Організаційна частина

2. Повідомлення теми і мети уроку

T: Dear children, take your sits, today we have continue to work on our topic “Sport in our life”. The topic of today’s lesson is “Kinds of sports”. During the lesson we are to do a lot of work. We read some information, write exercises, play, present our opinions and listen to some information.

The motto of our lesson is “There is no glory in practice, but without practice, there is no glory... ”

Let’s start our lesson.

T: children, there are some proverbs about sport. They are on the blackboard, but one lazybones broke them. We should fix the proverbs. Great job.  Now let’s read them.

T: Why do you go in for sport? I go in for sport because I want to be healthy. What about you?

T: Answer to my questions:

• Do you go in for sport?
• What kind of sport do you go in for?
• Do you take part in sport competitions?
• What is your favourite kind of sport?

• Do you like to pay games or do you like to watch them?
• Who is your favourite sportsman?
• Who is the best sportsman in our class?

3. Перевірка домашнього завдання

T: Pupils, what is your favourite kind of sport? F.e. my favourite kind of sport is volleyball. And yours?

At home you had to prepare a little report about your favourite kind of sport. Let’s start.

4. Робота з лексикою

Very good, now children, open your exercise-books, write down todays date, and topic.

As you can see, you sit in groups, as lots of sports are team sport; we also have two teams – Wunderkinds and Champions. You`ve got little labels.

And now open you books on page 87

Look at the exercise 1. What can you see?

Ps: Different kinds of sports.

T: Yes, you are right. And above the pictures we have got some expressions. Let`s read them and translate.

And now every group receives an envelope with assignment.

You are to match the expressions with the picture and translation.  Here we are! Outstanding job! But it won`t be so easy. Your next assignment is to order these expressions in alphabetical order. So, time!
