Метою уроку є введення лексичних одиниць “ My body”,практикуватися у вживанні дієслів “ have/ has got ”,формування в учнів навичок читання,аудіювання,усного мовлення а також розвивати навички писемного мовлення. Розвивати креативне мислення у дітей,виконуючи творчі завдання.

Topic: The parts of the body

Objectives:

  • to introduce the vocabulary on the topic “ My body”;
  • to practice using the verbs “ have/ has got ”;
  • to develop reading, listening, writing  and speaking skills;
  • to stimulate creative thinking through the project work.

Learning outcomes.By the end of the lesson students will be able to:

  • talk about the parts of the body;
  • describe people, animals, insects;
  • use the verbs “ have/has got “ in their speech.

Equipment: pupils book, copybook, flashcards,tape recorder.

I.Introduction

1.Greeting

Good morning! Take your sits. Take your magic pens, close your eyes and count: one, two, three. Open your eyes! Welcome to «The English Planet»! How are you today?

2. Warming up

Now, I’ll  read you the rhyme and you’ll repeat after me:

Two little hands go сlap, clap, clap !

Two little feet go tap, tap, tap !

One little head goes side to side.

Two little eyes are open wide.

The students repeat the rhyme and do the proposed actions. Look at the screen and guess what the topic of our today’s lesson is?

You are right, the topic of our lesson is “The parts of the body”. Now let’s repeat our words to the theme “Parts of the body. Учитель викликає 2 учнів. Учні стають біля останньої парти. Учитель показує кольорові картинки, а учні, називаючи їх правильно, ступають 1 крок уперед. Хто перший дійде до учителя, той виграє)

IІ. Main part

1.Vocabulary revision

T: Open please your books at p.43 Ex.4, point and say. Play the CD, stop after each word and ask the students to repeat them. Do Ex.7 p.43,look at exercise 6 and write.

Practice

A GAME. “Touch your…”

Call out the parts of the body and the students have to touch the part of the body which they’ve heard.Now you should find these words. Work in pairs.

2.Reading

Pre- reading activities

Page 42. Ask the students to look through the story and to describe the pictures they see. “What words are new for you?”. Explain the meaning of the unknown words and translate them. Play the CD. The students follow the phrases   with their  fingers.

While- reading activities

Look! Who is it?It’s me.I’m a baby.Oh!You’re funny!You’ve got a yellow body and a pink head. Have you got yellow legs too?Yes,I have.I’ve got a big head but I haven’t got a big body!I’m funny, too!

Post- reading activities

The students repeat each phrase after the CD/ the teacher and try to translate them.

The students divide into groups where each child reads his/her  role.

5.Writing

I think you know your body parts.Match the pictures with correct words.
