Учні ознайомлюються з новою лексикою, що описує дружбу та стосунки (to share, to support, to trust тощо), слухають діалог і виконують завдання на розуміння.

Tom: I don’t know… I had a quarrel with Mike yesterday. He is also in your team.
Nick: Oh, really? What happened?
Tom: He didn’t help me with our group project, and I was angry.
Nick: Well, friends sometimes quarrel. But good friends always forgive each other.
Tom: Do you think I should talk to him?
Nick: Of course! Just say, “Let’s forget about it.” He will be glad.
