4) Speaking / While-listening
Step 1. Listening
Tom: Hi, Nick! You look happy today.
Nick: Hi, Tom! Yes, because we are going to have a football match after school. Will you join us?
Tom: I don’t know… I had a quarrel with Mike yesterday. He is also in your team.
Nick: Oh, really? What happened?
Tom: He didn’t help me with our group project, and I was angry.
Nick: Well, friends sometimes quarrel. But good friends always forgive each other.
Tom: Do you think I should talk to him?
Nick: Of course! Just say, “Let’s forget about it.” He will be glad.
Tom: Hmm, you’re right. Maybe I’ll try.
Nick: Great! Real friends support each other. Come with me after school, and we’ll play together.
Tom: Thanks, Nick! You are a true friend.
