Мета: повторити та активізувати лексику по темі «Професії»; вдосконалювати навички вживання граматичного матеріалу Present Simple and Present Continuous; розвивати навички монологічного та діалогічного мовлення; розвивати увагу, логічне мислення, комунікативні здібності учнів; практикувати учнів в читанні, письмі, аудіюванні; виховувати повагу до людей різних професій, пізнавальний інтерес.

Хід урока
I. Підготовка до сприйняття іншомовного мовлення.
1. Greeting.
- Good morning, boys and girls!
And I’m glad to see you!
How are you? Are you ready for the lesson? You know that people must be tolerant to each other, so let’s start with saying compliments.
2. Aim.
The theme of the lesson is “The World of Professions”.
Today you are going to revise words on this topic, practise to use Present Simple and Present Continuous, read and act out dialogue, learn the poem “What are you going to be?” and do many useful tasks. Be active and attentive! The motto of our lesson is “All professions are useful and interesting.” Let’s start our work.
3. Warming up
a) Phonetic drills.
Look at the screen, name the sounds and read the words correctly. Game “The best speaker”

2. Actualize the lexical material on the topic. Vocabulary practice
-Do you remember different professions we’ve learnt at the previous lessons? Look at the blackboard. Here you can see the cards with the names of different jobs in Ukrainian. I forgot their translation. Help me. You’ll have cards with their English equivalents. Stick the correct English words to Ukrainian ones.
