What’s this?  It’s a… (bag, book, glue, pen, pencil, pencil case, rubber, ruler…

Now look at the board  listen and repeat the rhyme in rhythm

(Super Star Level 1 Unit 1 School things chant)

Listening. Play the audio .Children listen and point to the picture. Play the audio again Pp  to number the words.

1.T says the words ( in whisper, shouting, pleading, angry) Pp repeat  after the T.

2.Lip reading Children look at the teacher’s lips and name the word ,Pp-Pp

2.Game with flyswatter. Touch the pen,(new pencil, big ruler…)P-Pp

3Memory game “ What’s missing” Pp close your eyes,  T  mix the cards and  take out one card, Pp name it.Continue with other items.

4.Game “ Magic bag” P. try  to guess the object.

P1 “What’s this?”   P2 -It’s a  bag.

5. P-Pp 1 student shows  the word other student says the word.

5. Miming  game .Work in pairs.

Mime taking a pencil case out of your bag, upzip  it, take something  out  and zip it closed again. Hold  up the imaginary object and have the players  guess what it is .

Divide the class into pairs to continue the mime game.

6.Classroom objects domino to reinforce and practice  vocabulary in a funny way.
