                                                  ALICE IN WONDERLAND

Scene 1. (Alice, her sister and Rabbit)        MUSIC….

Sister: Alice, Alice…   (looking into the book)

Alice: I’m  hot, I’m sleepy, I’m so bored.

Sister: Look! I’ve got such an interesting book.

 Alice: Oh! How boring this book is! No pictures, no adventures… How boring everything is today! I want to sleep.

 

Scene 2. ( Rabbit , Hatter, Cat, Queen/KING)

Rabbit: She is a good girl. She likes to read.

Hatter: Your Majesty, don’t you think that she is the girl we need?

Cat: I have the same opinion.

Queen/KING: If she believes in miracles, she is the girl we need. Hush! She wakes up!

 

Scene 3. ( Rabbit , Alice)

WHITE RABBIT: (checking a pocket watch) Oh dear! Oh dear! I shall be too late!

ALICE:  A talking rabbit? How strange! Excuse me, Mr. Rabbit! Where are you going?

WHITE RABBIT: No time to chat! I'm late, I'm late!  The duchess will kill me because I`m late!

 (hops away)

ALICE: Wait! Mr.Rabbit, please!!! (follows the rabbit)

 

 

  

 

 

Scene 4.    THE RABBIT AND THE CLOCKS ARE DANCING  and singing   (A song TICK-TOCK merrily sings the clock)

 

WhAT TIME IS IT, guys?    -   It’s half past six

 

- oh no, it’s a quarter to eight

 

What time is it?     -I don’t know.  May be it’s ten minutes to ten?

 

What time is it? Tell me, please.    -    I think it’s not half past six, it’s not a quarter to eight.  

 

•          And I   think  it’s midday. It’s twelve o’clock
•           
•          No, not midday.  It’s midnight.
•           
•          Then it’s time to sleep…   (A SONG)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Scene 5. (Alice, FLOWERS, BUTTERFLIES)

        Alice  FINDS A KEY.

Alice: Oh! A key!  And What a beautiful garden!

            Oh! It’s interesting!  Now I can go there…   (enteres the garden)

TULIP: What a hot day today!

VIOLET: It’s so windy!  I can’t stand it!

DAISY: Oh my poor petals! They are really unhappy!

 Alice: Excuse me, could you… Oh, that’s nonsense, flowers can’t talk.

Flowers. (all together) Of course we can. We can tell you a story.

 

TULIP: Let’s tell her about tulips.

 

VIOLET: Oh, no.  About Violets.

 

DAISY:  And what about daisies?

 

Main Flower : Girls, stop arguing, let’s dance. It’s about all of us.

Alice. I’m not a weed!

 

Butterfly 1. Are you a bug?

Alice. I’m not a bug. Oh, they are mad! They call me a weed, a bug. I should find someone normal if I want to get back home.

Scene 6. (Alice, CHESHIRE CAT appearing and disappearing)

Alice: What a strange place! Nothing makes sense here!

Scene 6.  CHESHIRE CAT: We are all mad here. I’m mad… You’re mad…

Alice: How do you know I’m mad?

CHESHIRE CAT: You must be or you wouldn’t have come here.

Alice: Excuse me, but where am I?

CHESHIRE CAT: Wonderland, my dear!  And where do you want to go?

Alice: I just want to go home…

March Hare: A very merry unbirthday to me!

Hatter: To?

March Hare: To me!

Hatter: Oh you!

March Hare: A very merry unbirthday to you!

Hatter: Me?

March Hare: Yes, you!

Hatter: Oh, me!

March Hare: Let's all congratulate us with another cup of tea

A very merry unbirthday to you!

Hatter: To me!

Alice: Oh, I see Mr. Hatter and Mr. March Hare!

March Hare & Mad Hatter: No room, no room, no room, no room, no room, no room, no room!

Mushroom: A house?! Oh no! I am not a house!

Alice: Oh! Sorry, Mr. Mushroom!

Caterpillar: Hello… Who are you?

Alice: I am Alice. Who are you?

Caterpillar: I am a Caterpillar. And this is my chair!

Mushroom: Hey! I am not a chair!

Alice: Sorry again, Mr. Mushroom!

Caterpillar: Alice… do you want to grow tall?

Setting: The Queen’s garden.

Soldier:
Stop! Stop! Stop!

Alice:
Why are you shouting?

Soldier:
Because I always shout! It’s my job!

Alice:
Oh… okay.

Soldier:
Who are you?

Alice:
My name is Alice. I think I am lost.

Soldier:
Lost? In the Queen’s garden? Oh no… this is bad.

Alice:
Why?

Soldier:
Because the Queen loves rules. Many rules. Too many rules!

(The Red Queen enters angrily.)

Red Queen:
Who is talking in my garden?

Soldier:
Your Majesty! A girl!

Red Queen:
A girl? In MY garden?!

Alice:
Hello, Your Majesty.

Red Queen:
Why are you here?

Alice:
I’m looking for my way home.

Red Queen:
Hmm… First rule of my garden:
No running!

Soldier:
No running!

Red Queen:
Second rule:
No jumping!

Soldier:
No jumping!

Red Queen:
Third rule:
No eating cake!

Soldier:
No eating cake!

Alice:
No cake?! That is the worst rule!

Red Queen:
And the most important rule…

Soldier:
The MOST important!

Red Queen:
Everyone must say: “The Queen is wonderful!”

Soldier:
The Queen is wonderful!

Alice:
Um… the Queen is… very interesting.

Red Queen:
Interesting?!

Soldier:
Oh-oh…

Red Queen:
I prefer “wonderful!”

Alice:
Okay! The Queen is wonderful!

Red Queen:
Better!

Soldier:
Much better!

Red Queen:
Now we play my favorite game: croquet!

Alice:

Red Queen:

Soldier:

Alice:
Alright… Wonderland is very strange.

Red Queen:

Soldier:

1.  Once upon a time there was a girl, named Alice. She was kind, curious, and a little bit bored. One day she was in the garden with her sister…

2. Alice walked for a long time in Wonderland. She was a little bit tired, but so curious. There was a beautiful garden with bright flowers and colorful  butterflies. Everything looked magical and alive.

3. Suddenly Alice stopped. She felt someone was watching her. She looked right, she looked left… But there was nobody there…  Slowly, slowly a face appeared. This was the Cheshire Cat. He could appear and disappear!

Now let’s see what happens next…

 

4. After talking to the Cheshire Cat, Alice felt even more confused… But suddenly she saw a table with many cups, plates and teapots. Everything looked messy and funny.

 So the tea party begins!!!

 

5. After that tea party Alice walked through a magical forest. And suddenly she saw a very big mushroom and a mysterious Caterpillar.
