Мета: навчати: спілкуванню в межах теми;

висловлювати свої думки і ставлення;

адекватно використовувати досвід, набутий у вивченні рідної

мови, розглядаючи його як засіб усвідомленого оволодіння

іноземною мовою;

ухвалювати аргументовані рішення у життєвих ситуаціях;

сприяти формуванню відповідального члена громади і суспільства, що розуміє принципи і механізми суспільства.

Хід уроку

1. Організаційний момент:

T.: Good morning, pupils! Sit down, please. Are you ready to start our lesson?

2. Ознайомлення учнів із темою та метою заняття

T.: Today we shall speak on education. We shall practice the active vocabulary and try to improve your skills in reading, speaking and listening in a foreign language.

3. Мотивація навчальної діяльності

T.: Today the world is developing and changing very quickly, it demands knowledge and skills that are always supposed to be up-to-date. Your decision about your education is among the most important ones in your life. Every teenager has a lot of opportunities – to go to college, to continue studying at school and then to try to do your best at Independent State Testing in order to enter the university or even to take a gap year. It is so hard to choose and you may be scared to make an error. So, today we’ll speak on it.

5. Поглиблення знань із теми

5.1 Робота з фразовими дієсловами

Т.: Let us remember some verbs which denote different activities connected with studying and teaching. You are supposed to describe pictures.

5.3 Робота з словосполученнями

T.: There are a lot of collocations about studying. Your next task will be to match two parts of them to form a correct word combination.

5.5 Speaking

T: Good for you! We have talked about subjects, what you do during the lessons and now we are going to talk about teachers and pupils. Look at the phrases in the box. Underline the ones which complete sentence 1, and circle the ones which complete sentence 2. You can circle and underline the same phrase if necessary.
