A SMALL TOWN

Twintown is a very small town. There are only four streets in it. A big department store is in the centre of the town. You can buy food, clothes, books and toys here.

A restaurant is next to the department store. Turn right and you will see the hotel. A school and a library are opposite the hotel. A hospital and a chemist’s are on the left. You can buy medicines, creams, bandages, pins, plasters and cotton wool here. And remember! You should visit your dentist twice a year.

In the centre you can see a post office and a small sports centre. The railway station is at the end of the street. You have to buy a ticket so that you can travel by the train. The newsagent is here too. You can buy many newspapers and magazines here. And in the kiosk children usually buy sweets, crisps and cola.
