The Beatles, formed in Liverpool in 1960, are widely considered among the most famous and influential bands in popular music history. They are one of the best-selling music acts of all time. The band holds records for the most number-one hits on the US Billboard Hot 100 and the most number-one albums on the UK Albums Chart.

Most Iconic Songs & Albums. The Beatles' musical style evolved from pop to experimental music. Some of their famous songs include "Hey Jude," "Yesterday," "Let It Be," and "A Day in the Life".

John Lennon. John Lennon (1940–1980) was a legendary British musician, singer, and peace activist who gained worldwide fame as a founder and member of The Beatles.

Paul Mc. Cartney. Sir Paul Mc. Cartney (born 1942) is an English musician, singer, and songwriter who rose to global fame as a co-lead vocalist and bassist for The Beatles. As of January 2026, he remains a prominent cultural figure, recognized as the first British musician-billionaire. Mc. Cartney continues to be active at age 83.

George Harrison. George Harrison (1943–2001) was an English musician, singer-songwriter, and film producer who achieved international fame as the lead guitarist of The Beatles. George Harrison passed away more than 24 years ago, at the age of 58.

Ringo Starr. Sir Ringo Starr (born Richard Starkey) is an English musician, singer, and songwriter who achieved worldwide fame as the drummer for The Beatles.
