NOTES: Tell your Ss that personal information is: full name, birthday, age, nationality etc.
DIFFERENTIATION – AUDITORY:

Help them practice inflections and stresses of each sentence
Give them a chance to ask and answer with each other.

DIFFERENTIATION – VISUAL:
Always do a few practice runs with the class
Try using a variety of colored makers to highlight different parts of speech, grammar etc.
READING/WRITING
Choose sentences from the first activity and do a fill-in-the-blank activity.
For example: W_a_’s y_ur n_me?
If your students are absolute beginners, start by blanking out only vowels. Put the vowels on the board so they know which letters to choose.
If they are a little more advanced, you can choose to blank out the entire word or entire sentence.
DIFFERENTIATION – KINESTETIC:
Before the activity, have Ss put all materials away and be sure to wipe the board clean
Monitor your students and make sure everyone is participating.
PRACTICING/DOING
Depending on the size of your class, you’re going to create a few sets of index cards.
Choose 3-5 questions (or more), and write out each question using one word per card. Be sure to include the question mark on the last word to help the students recognize the end of a question.
Hand out the cards and ask the students to recognize the words so they form a grammatically correct question.
Try not to group students in more than ¾ per group.
Entice your Ss by offering a prize to the group that finishes first.
