Teacher: Look at the pictures on the board. (Additional material) Can you guess the theme of our lesson? – Yes, it’s Holidays. What winter holidays do you know? Which of them do you like best of all? Guess what holidays do you associate with these pictures? There is one mistake in the each of the sentence. Find and explain. 1) Christmas, Birthday, Valentine’s Day, Monday, Easter. 2) Carols, presents, Easter’s eggs, Christmas tree, star. 3) Balloons, cakes, a teddy-bear, candles, invitations, cards.

Exercise 2 Look at the pictures and write the words correctly: exercise 2 Exercise 3 Work in pairs. One of you is a child from Great Britain. Answer his/her questions. Use the words from the box.
