Гра-змагання на уроці англійської мови у 4 класі

Призначення. Знайомство з новим матеріалом на англійській мові, його відпрацювання і закріплення в ігровій формі, наприклад у вигляді командних ігор, робить процес навчання більш яскравим і емоційним. Цікаві вправи приваблюють дітей, і вони з задоволенням вивчають іноземну мову.

Інтелектуально-розважальна гра In the World of English для учнів 4 класу

Мета: узагальнення лексичного і граматичного матеріалу за вивченими темами.

Завдання:

Освітня: розширювати кругозір учнів.

Розвиваючі: розвивати пізнавальну активність і вміння застосовувати отримані знання в новій комунікативній ситуації; розвивати інтелектуальні здібності; формувати мотивацію до вивчення англійської мови.

Виховні: виховувати шанобливе ставлення до іншої культури; розвиток уміння працювати в команді.

Коментарі: Урок проводиться у вигляді змагання між двома командами учнів 4 класу.

Хід уроку

I. Організаційний момент. Представлення команд.

Good morning, dear friends. I'm glad to see you at our game. Two teams are going to compete now. So, let's start!

Хлопці, сьогодні у нас незвичайний урок, а урок-гра. Дві команди будуть виконувати завдання конкурсів. Та команда, яка набере більше очок, і буде переможцем. Бажаю удачі!

II. Проведення конкурсів.

Конкурс 1 «Розминка»

Our first game is "Warming-up". Each team should answer my question in turn.

1. How many letters are there in the English alphabet? (26 letters)

2. How many seasons are there in a year? (4 seasons)

3. How many days are there in a week? (7 days)

4. What day comes after Friday? (Субота)

5. Who is my mother's daughter? (My sister)

6. When do the English celebrate Christmas? (In December)

7. When do the Americans celebrate Thanksgiving Day? (In November)

8. What is Coca-Cola? (a drink)

Our third game is The Chain". It's time to remember as many words as you can.

Командам дається вихідне слово Teacher, яке є початком «ланцюжка» слів, де остання буква попереднього слова є першою буквою наступного.

Конкурс 4 «Скорочені імена»

Our fourth game is "Short Names".

У повсякденному спілкуванні ми ніколи не називаємо один одного повним ім'ям, частіше вживаємо скорочена. Ваше завдання - співвіднести повне ім'я зі скороченим.

Now we have the last game. Our teams should a guess riddle. I'll say some words about the famous characters of English and American books and cartoons. You should guess whom I mean.

Ви повинні назвати героя книги або мультфільму, якого я описала.

1. This character is a funny bear. He is fat but very nice. He likes and honey doesn't like bees. He enjoys to make up rhymes. He likes to visit his friends Rabbit and Piglet. (Winnie-the-Pooh)

2. . This funny mouse is a character of the American cartoon. This mouse was created by Walt Disney. The mouse is very clever, but he always has a lot of problems with a cat. He has to make many tricks to run away from this cat. (Jerry)

5. This is a boy. He has no parents. His parents were magicians and the angry man killed them. This boy is very and talented clever. He studies at the magic school. He can do a lot of magic tricks. He has got a lot of friends. They help him to fight against angry men. (Harry Potter)
