Конспект уроку англійської мови в 12 класі на тему:

«Як молодь виражає свою індивідуальність ? »

(How do teens express their individuality?)

Мета уроку: Розвиток іномовної комунікативної компетенції.

Цілі:

1. Активізувати вивчену лексику за темою  «Молодіжна культура».
2. Вдосконалювати комунікативні вміння у різних видах мовленевої діяльності – говоріння (монолог) та аудіювання.
3.  Розвивати здібності до порівняння і класифікації, вміти аналізувати та робити висновки.

Види мовленевої діяльності: аудіювання з метою детального розуміння змісту, говоріння (монолог).

 Режим роботи: фронтально-груповий, індивідуальный.

Хід уроку: 

1.      Організаційний момент.

Teacher: Today we are going to speak about things which are very familiar and interesting for you. We’ll discuss how teens express their individuality.

2. Активізація лексики з теми  «Молодіжна культура».

3.1. (Фронтальний режим роботи.)

Teacher: You know that a lot of people belong to different subcultures. What is a subculture?

Pupil 1: A subculture is a group of people with the same interests, the same style and they like the same music.

(Учень дає визначення поняттю субкультура)

Teacher: So, what are the four main features of any subculture?

Pupil 2: Image, ideas, clothes, music.

(Учень називає 4 основні характеристики субкультури)

Teacher: There are a lot of subcultures. Remember them.

 (Учні називають субкультури, які їм відомі)

Малюнки 1-3.

Teacher: Identify the subcultures, please.

(Учні визначають, представники якої субкультури зображені на малюнках)

Teacher: I believe there are some mistakes in the descriptions of the subcultures. Find and correct these mistakes.

1. The music of punks is romantic.
2. Rockers prefer soul music.
3. Hippies show off their independence in supporting an aggressive attitude and lifestyle.
4. Ravers are thought to be sentimental.
5. Punks support society’s standards.

(Учні знаходять помилки і виправляють їх усно.)

3.2. (Груповий режим роботи.)

Teacher: Use the names of subcultures instead of pronouns.

(Кожна група учнів отримує картки з реченнями. Діти повинні замінити в кожному реченні особистий займенник на назву представника відповідної субкультури.)

Текст карток:

1. He wears a leather jacket and a cowboy hat.
2. They are good at computers.
3. They like to talk about vampires and about the end of the world.
4. He refuses to accept everything.
5. They cut their hair shorter than others do.

Teacher: We’ve discussed image and ideas of some subcultures. Combine all information you’ve learned about clothes, images and ideas of different subcultures in the scheme on the blackboard. Use cards on your desks.

(Кожній групі учнів пропонується розпреділити на дошці у вигляді схеми інформацію про субкультури. Картки з виразами знаходяться на столах у кожної групи.)

4. Релаксуюча пауза.

Teacher: And now one more feature of subcultures – music. What music styles do you know?

(Учні по черзі називають відомі їм стилі музики.)

Teacher: Can you guess the style while listening to the music? Let’s see.

 (Учні прослуховують фрагменти музичних композицій і визначають їх стилі та напрями).

Teacher: And now guess what music styles prefer different subcultures. By expressing your opinions use these combinations of words:

In my opinion …

I think …

I suppose that…

I’m sure that …

I do feel that …

There is no doubt that …

(Учні намагаються визначити, які типи музики полюбляють представники різних субкультур. Вчитель виправляє помилки, при необхідності.)

5. Розвиток навичок монологічного мовлення.

Teacher: Here is everything we’ve discussed at the lesson today. You are only to add the music styles in our scheme and to speak about different subcultures.

(Учні висловлюються про різні субкультури.)

Teacher: Who can summarize everything we’ve discussed at the lesson today and speak about all subcultures?

( В завершенні один учень з високим рівнем знань розповідає про всі типи субкультур, які були згадані на уроці.)

6. Домашне завдання.

Teacher: Why do you think people belong to different subcultures? Try to answer this question at home using the text.

7. Підведення підсумків.

Teacher: I’m quite satisfied with your work at the lesson today. Your project about the historical background of some music styles was great. I liked it very much. I’m pleased with answers and work of other students. Thank you for your participation. Thank you for today’s lesson. See you in a week.
