LESSON PROCEDURE

I. Greeting & Ice-breaker (5 min)

Game: “What Am I Wearing?”

Teacher describes: «I am wearing a warm coat and boots. It is cold. What season is it?»

Students answer: «Winter»

2–3 students describe themselves.

II. Vocabulary Revision (10 min)

1️⃣   Memory Game

Put 10 clothes pictures on the board. Students look for 30 seconds.
Teacher removes 2 pictures → Students say what is missing.

2️⃣   Worksheet 1 – Match

Match the clothes to the season:

Winter | Summer | Spring | Autumn

coat
T-shirt
boots
shorts
jacket
scarf
sandals
sweater

3️⃣   Find the Mistake

1. In winter I wear sandals.
2. In summer I wear gloves.
3. In autumn I wear a raincoat.
4. In spring I wear a scarf and boots.

Students correct sentences.

III. Listening (8 min)

Listening Text (Teacher reads twice)

Kate likes all seasons. In summer she wears light dresses and sandals. In winter she wears a warm coat, boots and gloves. In spring she wears a jacket and trainers. In autumn she wears jeans and a sweater. She doesn’t like wearing heavy clothes.

Text for Reading

Ben’s favourite season is spring. The weather is warm but not hot. He usually wears jeans, a T-shirt and trainers. When it rains, he wears a raincoat. In winter he wears a heavy coat and boots, but he doesn’t like cold weather.
