Theme: Animals and colours

Aims and objectives:

• навчити описувати те, що бачиш на малюнку;
•  вивчити і називати кольори, тварин;
• ввести структуру What colour is it?;
• познайомити учнів із правилами читання букви K k;
• формувати навички монологічного мовлення на рівні речення з опорою на наочність та навички діалогічного мовлення на рівні мікродіалогу з опорою на зразок;
• удосконалювати техніку читання вголос;
• розвивати фонематичний слух, гнучкість артикуляцій­ного апарату, мовну здогадку, пам'ять, увагу, вміння самостійно працювати з картками;
• виховувати інтерес до вивчення англійської мови.

Equipments: підібрані вправи за темою, ко­льорові малюнки тварин, таблиці, наочні картки, , презентація Power Point, video disk “English alphabet”.

PROCEDURE

I. Warming up  

1. Greeting.

T . Good morning, children! I am glad to see you!

We are glad to see you.

T. How are you today?

P1. I am fine. And you?

P2. I am bad.

T. I am so sorry! I hope you will be better for the end of the lesson.

2. Phonetic drills. Listen to me, them repeat after me and tell it as quickly as possible.

I love my cat,

It’s warm and fat

My cat is grey

It likes to play.

 

II. Main part

3. Aims. (Повідомлення теми та мети уроку).

Dear children look at the screen. Be  attentive! After this cartoon you will say the topic of our today’s lesson (video disk “English alphabet”). Діти переглядають урок англійської мови з тітонькою совою , яка розповідає про літеру K k , нові слова з цією літерою. 

Are you guess, about  what we shall be talk today? Сьогодні ми з вами поговоримо про кольори, тварин та літеру  K k. How do you think, where can you use this knowledge? What shall we do during this lesson? What are you expecting from today’s lesson? (на дошці хмаринки, сонечко, учні отримують вирізані різнокольорові кульки і записують на них свої очікування , а в кінці уроку прикріплять їх на ту висоту, відповідно до того, як справдились їхні очікування) . You have balloons on your desk please write down your expecting. And for the end of the lessons your balloons will be high or low. It’s depends from you! For each right answer and active work I’ll give you funny faces. It will be 1 ball. (за кожну правильну відповідь і активну роботу 1 смішне обличчя)

- make up sentences with new words, you have 1 minute,  for example:

The duck is black and white.

This is a frog. The frog is green. This fish is yellow.

5. Pair work. Now, I'll give you cards. Here you can see three sentences.

Look at the pictures with animals. You must complete these sentences. (2 min.)

I have got a (rabbit). The rabbit is (white). It can (jump).

I have got a (mouse). The mouse is (grey). It can (eat).

(Mouse, eat, grey)

Діти читають свої відповіді, після чого на дошці з'являються зразки правильних від­повідей учителя для порівняння.

6. Physical activity

Are you tiring? Let’s have a rest. Let’s sing a song about colours. First you will listen to the song then we shall sing together. (Cards with words of song). After song we should have some active rest. That’s why : stand up and repeat after me

7. Group work. Now you will choose the flower which colour you like best of all, then you will sit down to pupils with the same colour and do the task. (за допомогою квітів різних кольорів учні обирають команду в якій будуть працювати). On the desk you have colour pencils and cards with tasks. You  should to paint animals and words according their colours.( 2 min).

8. Speaking.

Навчимось вживати вираз «What colour is...?». Учні читають за ролями ланцюжком пи­тання та відповіді.

Прочитай за ролями.

•           What colour is the chick?
•           It's yellow.
•           What colour is the bear?
•           It's brown.
•           What colour is the frog?
•           It's green.

Далі вчитель показує різнокольорову іграш­ку або малюнок, наприклад собаку, та опи­сує її.

This is а toy-dog. The dog is not big.

It's little. The dog is yellow; oring and blue.

Прибирає іграшку і пропонує пограти в гру "Wrong/ right".

1.   This is a cat.

5.   The dog is yellow, oring and blue.

Прочитай діалоги і побудуй подібні. (3 min.)

9. Reading.

- Прочитай і переклади.

This is a black dog. The dog can run and jump. This is a cat. It is red. The cat can jump. The cat cannot swim. This rat is grey. The rat can run. The rat can hop. This is a frog. It is green. The frog can swim.

- читання букви K k. What words do you learn today with a letter ‘K k’. Name them. Do you understand how we read this letter?

10. Writing.

- fill the gaps

Co-k, bl-c-, pin-, fi-h, gre-n, -ed, f-og, be-r, ye-low, d-ck, -itten.

• translate sentences into English:

Анна має качку та півня. Цей ведмідь є коричневий. Це є кошеня та риба. Це є рожеве порося, то є рудий півень. Том має жовте курча.

(Учні відповідають на запитання про те, що вони вивчили на уроці, де зможуть використати ці знання, чи сподобався урок, що найбільш сподобалось, чи справдились очікування від уроку і нарешті за допомогою кульок на яких вони написали свої очікування ми можемо побачити як вони справдились).
