I. Introduction.

T: Dear pupils. I am glad to see you here. I am sure you are ready for active work and to check it, answer the questions.

The Seasons in England

English families like to spend their holidays and the weekends in the countryside. The English countryside is like a carpet of many flowers in every season. In spring and summer the fields, the meadows and the forests are light green and dark green. The gardens are red, blue, yellow and white with flowers. In autumn the leaves on the trees change their colour from green to yellow, brown, red and orange. The English summer is never very hot and in winter it is not very cold. Spring and autumn are cool. Cold wind blows in winter from the sea, in summer the winds are cool. There is little snow in winter, and it never stays on the ground for long. But there is much rain in England all the year round. The weather is very changeable. The grass in the mountains is green all the year round. That’s why you can see many cows and sheep in the meadows. English children like to play football very much. They can play football even in winter because the football fields are always green. All children like summer best of all, because it is the season of their holidays. They can go to the seaside, play in green parks and walk in the mountains.

Пори року в Англії

Англійські сім’ї люблять проводити свою відпустку і вихідні дні в сільській місцевості. Англійська сільська місцевість як килим з багатьох квітів в будь-яку пору року. Навесні і влітку поля, луки і ліси ‒ світло-зелені і темно-зелені. Сади ‒ червоні, сині, жовті і білі від квітів. Восени листя на деревах змінюють свій колір із зеленого на жовтий, коричневий, червоний і помаранчевий. Англійське літо ніколи не буває дуже жарким, а взимку не дуже холодно. Навесні і восени прохолодно. Холодний вітер дме в зимовий період з моря, влітку вітри холодні. Взимку мало снігу, і він ніколи не залишається на землі довго. Але в Англії випадає багато дощів круглий рік. Погода дуже мінлива. Трава в горах зелена круглий рік. Ось чому Ви можете побачити багато корів і овець на луках. Англійські діти дуже люблять грати в футбол. Вони можуть грати в футбол навіть в зимовий період, так як футбольні поля завжди зелені. Всі діти найбільше люблять літо, тому що це пора року їхніх канікул. Вони можуть ходити до моря, грати в зелених парках і гуляти в горах.
