Тема: Дикі та свійські тварини. Ступені порівняння прикметників.

Мета: повторити та активізувати лексику теми; повторити граматичний матеріал: ступені порівняння прикметників; практикувати учнів в усному мовленні та письмі, вживанні та використанні прикметників; розвивати комунікативні вміння та логічне мислення; виховувати активність, інтерес до вивчення англійської мови.

Обладнання: мультимедійна презентація, картки «Understand me», картки з вправами для самостійної роботи.

Тип уроку: узагальнення знань

Хід уроку:

1. Підготовча частина.

1. Привітання.

- Good morning my dear children!

- Good morning teachers.

2. Повідомлення теми і мети уроку.

- The theme of our lesson is animals. Today on this lesson we speak, read, write, do exercise and play game.

2. Основна частина.

1. Створення mind map.

• You know many animals. And today we will create (make) a great scheme, map.

• Look at the blackboard. We can see one word ANIMALS, but we will have big map with many different words if our work is fine.
• Are you ready?
• Please, answer my questions.
• What animals can fly? (birds)
• What birds do you know? (dove, penguin, hen, chicken, goose, duck, flamingo, pea-cock)
• Yes, you are clever pupils!
• What animals can swim? And they live in water. (fishes)
• What fishes do you know? (shark)
• Yes, you are right!

• What kind of animals do you know? (_________________)
• I think that we can write 4 kinds of animals. Birds, fishes, wild and domestic.
• Do you agree with me?

• Ok, let’s speak about wild and domestic animals.

• What it this «wild animals»?
• What wild animals do you know? (називають тварин)
• What it this «domestic animals»?
• What domestic animals do you know? (називають тварин)

• Where do wild and domestic animals live?

• Animals have different colors, sizes and feature.
• Name colors.

• What words do we use when we speak about animal?

For example, mouse is …. small

Ok, mouse is small. Elephant is … big

• Ok, we work quickly. And I say word and you should say opposite meaning to that word. I say Ukrainian words and you translate.
• Do you understand me?
• Good. For example small-big

• What food do animals eat?

• What can animals do?

What part of body do animals have?

Good job! Well done!

2. Виконання вправи.

• Look at the blackboard. You can see animals and words

Big – bigger – the biggest

• You know this rule, and you can complete sentences with these words.
• Am I right?
• Make up sentences using the words dig digger the biggest

• Оk. Very good. I have exercise, and you should do it.

Compare the animals. Use the words: fast, big, long, funny, fat.

Ex: An elephant is bigger than a lion.

And answer the questions.

3. Гра «Understand me».

• Ok. I said that we will play game. This is your favorite game! This is «Understand me»/
• You know the rules of the game. I would like to remind them.
• 2 teams: first and second. One pupil goes to the blackboard, then takes the card and reads the word. Then the pupil explains this word, and other children must to guess this word. The word cannot be called
