Мета: 1.Ознайомити учнів зі столицею Великобританії, та визначними
пам'ятками Лондона.
2.Активізувати та тренувати вживання лексичних одиниць в усному
та писемному мовленні за темою”London”
3. Розвивати пам'ять, увагу, мовленеву здогадку, образне мислення.
4.Удосконалювати навички читання, говоріння, письма, аудіювання.
5.Перевірити уміння використовувати вивчений матеріал підчас
самостійної та індивідуальної роботи.
6.Виховувати пізнавальний інтерес до вивчення іноземної мови та
готовність до спілкування, розширювати кругозір учнів.
7. Виховувати поважне відношення до історії та культури іншої країни.
8. Зміцнювати психологічне та емоційне здоров'я учнів

T: Last summer some boys and girls went on holiday to London. They went for a week and saw many sights in London. Today they are going to speak about them. Look at the screen.
P1: There are many towns and cities in the world. London is one of the most beautiful and interesting city of it. It stands on the river Thames.
P2: It was founded about two thousand years ago. There are many places to visit in London.
There are a lot of museums, art galleries, cinemas, theaters and old parks in London.
P3: There are a lot of bridges over the Thames. The Tower Bridge is very old and very famous. It is more than 100 years old.
P4: From Tower Bridge you can see the Tower of London. It is the Museum now. There is a famous clock in London called Big Ben.
P5: This is Buckingham Palace. It is one of the oldest palaces. The King lives here.
P6: There is a big park in London. It is called Hyde Park. You can walk, run, ride a bike.
P7: There are a lot of museums in London. The British Museum is very famous.
P8: There are a lot of cars and buses in the streets of London. London’s taxis are black and buses are red. The big buses called double-deckers.
P9: The trains in London go under the street. This place is named underground. This is one of the oldest metro in the world, called Tube.
P10: This is the London Eye. It’s a big wheel. It’s 135 meters high. I saw all city and the river Thames.
