Конспект уроку з англійської мови " Weather" для 6 класу

Тема: Погода і мої почуття. Вживання Past Simple та Past Continuous.

Клас: 6

• вчити учнів комбінувати 2-3 речення у логічній послідовності на основі мовленнєвої ситуації

         вчити учнів читати і вилучати нову інформацію з тексту;

• систематизувати видо-часові форми дієслова;
• систематизувати лексичні одиниці до теми ;
• виховувати культуру взаємовідносин із однолітками, батьками, суспільством;
• формувати потреби і здібності робити соціальний вибір;
• поглибити знання учнів про функції мови (мовленнєвих умінь) як засобу спілкування;
• розвивати вміння порівнювати явища, визначати їх розутність, оцінювати їх;
• розвивати емоційний інтелект;

• розвивати здібності учнів:

• до слухової диференціації (фонематичний слух); -до зорової диференціації (механізм читання);
• до порівняння, зіставлення мовленнєвих одиниць, їх форм і значень;
• до логічного викладу змісту висловлювання;
• до формулювання висновків щодо прочитаного/ прослуханого або сказаного;
• до імітації мовленнєвої одиниці різного обсягу;

Обладнання: підручник, роздатковий матеріал, картки when/while,Past Simple,Past Continuous, аудіозапис, ноутбук, карта погоди учнів, значки, фломастери, олівці.

                                    Хід уроку:

1. Greeting. Starting the lesson.
2. Introduction: listen to the proverbs and guess the theme of our lesson.

When there is a clear moon, here is a frost coming soon.

Rainbow in the morning, sailor’s warning. Rainbow at night, sailor’s delight.

You become the weather you live in.

It’s no use being a rainbow when you live in a family of clouds.

3. Brainstorm:

-What is the weather like today? Do you like today`s weather? How do you feel about it?

What type of weather makes you feel your best/worse?

4. Vocabulary.

Exercise 1.

Draw a badge with the weather you look like.

Make up the 6B class Weather Map (using the students’ badges).

5. Listening

-You are going to hear 4 speakers talking about feelings. Match the sentences to the speakers. There is one extra sentence.

6.Grammar

-Review the form and the usage of the Past Simple and Past Continuous; when/while.

-Exercise 1. Complete the sentences. The group is divided into 2 teams, choose the box with “when” or “while”, pick up 1 sentence and complete it.

7.Reading

Pre-reading: Read the title, look at the picture. What is the story going to be about?

Post-reading:

-Put the events in the correct order. (exercise 3 p.56 SB)

8.Writing

Look through the text again and answer the questions:

- Match the headings to the paragraphs.

-In what part(s) of the story we can read about the weather/ feelings?

-Find sentences with one action in progress and another action which interrupted it/ two or more simultaneous actions/ actions happened after each other.

Note! We normally use the past simple and the past continuous when we narrate a story.

-Look at para 1: Setting the scene. What information is mentioned in it?

(Time –Place-Weather-Activity-Feeling)

          -Fill in the table. It should be the beginning of your story with the title:

             “It was a Lucky Escape”. Set the scene to your story orally.

          9. Ending the lesson. Summary. Giving the homework:
