Тема: « HOME SWEET  HOME»

- закріпити лексичний і граматичний матеріал з теми «Дім, милий дім»

- удосконалювати лексичні навички та техніку читання;

- навчати учнів сприймати лексичні та граматичні конструкції на слух та складати речення за зразком;

- розвивати  навички мовлення та аудіювання;

- удосконалювати граматичні навички;

- розвивати  мовну здогадку, творчі здібності учнів.

- прищеплювати інтерес до вивчення англійської мови.

Тип уроку: Урок комплексного застосування знань, навичок і вмінь.

Форма проведення: Урок взаємного навчання

Обладнання : підручник, робочий зошит, мультимедійна дошка.

Хід уроку

І. Актуалізація опорних знань

1. Greeting

T: Good morning, pupils! I am glad to see you! How are you? I hope you are well today.

Ps: Good morning, teacher! We are glad to see you too.

T: Tell me, please, about your favorite day of the week. What do you do in the morning, in the afternoon and in the evening?

ІІ. Мотивація навчальної діяльності й повідомлення теми, мети і завдань уроку

T: So, now I can start our lesson. The theme of the lesson “Home sweet home”.

 Today we are going to speak about our houses, flats, try to describe one of the rooms and do many interesting tasks. I hope you will enjoy it. Look on the blackboard, read and translate some proverbs.

P1: There is no place like home.

P2: East or West, Home is best.

P3: Every dog is a lion at home.

P4: Every bird likes its own nest.

P5: It is a bad bird that fouls its own nest.

Ex.1A  p.46  SB T: Look at the picture, listen new words and repeat.

T: Listen the sentences and circle the correct words (Ex. A p.38WB)

Ex. 1B p.46 SB  T: And now we`ll repeat the numbers. Look at the numbers and repeat.

T: And now write the numbers below in words (Ex. B h. 38 WB)

2.  Listening. Reading. Speaking

T: Look at the pictures and say what do you know about these places? Listen, read and check your answers. (Ex. 2A  p.46 SB)

T: Answer the questions from Ex. 2B p. 47 SB

3. Grammar

There is / There are

T: Today we`ll repeat the use of constructions there is / there are.

We use there is before singular nouns.

There is (There`s)                           There is a bike in the garden.

There is not (There isn`t)                There isn`t a chair in the bedroom.

Is there…?                                       Is there a book on your desk?

                                                         Yes, there is. / No, there isn`t.

We use there are before plural nouns.

There are                                           There are four bedrooms in the house.

There are not (There aren`t)              There aren`t two bedrooms in the house.

Are there…?                                      Are there two apples on the table?

                                                            Yes, there are. / No, there aren`t.

T: Let’s do Ex. 3 p.46 SB. Complete with the correct form of there is / there are.

T:  Look at the picture Ex. C p.38 WB. Complete with the words in the box.

T: And now we have a rest. We`ll do some exercise.

Two little feet go tap, tap, tap.

Two little arms go up in the air.
Two little hands go thump, thump, thump.
Two little feet go jump, jump, jump.
One little body goes round and round.
One little child sits quietly down.

2. Grammar

T: Complete with the correct form of there is / there are (Ex. D p. 39 WB)
