Тема: Outdoor activities

Цілі:

Практична: формувати артикуляційні навички, удосконалювати навички читання, тренувати у вживанні нових ЛО, удосконалювати навички усного мовлення, письма

Освітня: познайомити учнів з різними видами активного відпочинку,  зокрема кемпінгом.

Розвивальна: розвивати фонетичний слух, увагу, пам’ять,  усне мовлення, мовну здогадку, культуру спілкування.

Виховна: виховувати любов до спорту, до різних видів активного відпочинку, прищеплювати інтерес до різних видів активного відпочинку, ознайомити учнів з предметами, які потрібні для кемпінгу.

Обладнання: підручник 5 клас (Оксана Карп’юк),мультимедійна презентація.

Т: Good morning, pupils.  I’m very glad to see you. How are you?

P: Good morning, teacher! We are fine

T: Sit down, please! Who is absent today?

T: Today we will continue to study our unit ‘Outdoor activities”. Also you will do many exercises, practice your writing, reading and speaking skills. Today we will speak about different kinds of outdoor activities, especially camping. Let’s start our lesson.

2.       Фонетична зарядка

Let’s train our pronunciation a little bit. Repeat all together.

The blue bluebird blinks. [ði: blu: ‘blu:bə:d blɪŋks]

Repeat after me. Pronounce all the sounds correctly!

1.               What do you like to do when it is hot? (We like to swim in the river and play football).
2.               What do you like to do when it is frosty? (We like to do the snowman and play snowballs).
3.               What do you like to do when it is warm? (We like to go camping or to go to the forest).

So, children your home task was to say what you can do in each season for ex.2, p.162. as in example. So, who is ready?

(1. In autumn we can stay indoors and listen to the rain.

1.               In summer we can sunbathe.
2.               In summer we can gather strawberries in the forest.
3.               In winter we can sleigh.
4.               In summer we can gather strawberries in the forest.
5.               In winter we can play snowballs.
6.               In autumn we can gather yellow and red leaves in the parks.
7.               In winter we can skate and ski.
8.               In autumn we can gather mushrooms.
9.               In winter we can stay at home near the fire.
10.          In summer we can build sand castles).

So, let’s get acquainted with the new expressions at page 163. Repeat them after me and write down them into your vocabularies. Remember them.

Now, pupils let’s do exercise 3 at page 163. You should read and translate sentences and then to guess what word fits the sentence using the table below.

Now let’s do another exercise 4 at page 163. You should choose the items that you need when you go to camping. Write down them into your copybooks.
