Slide 2. Comparison of Active and Passive Voice. (Explain the difference between the Voices.)
Slide 3. Explanation of the general formation of Present Passive Voice with both regular and irregular verbs. (If it is necessary, remind and show pupils pages from Student’s Book 158-159, where they can find the table of irregular verbs, which will be necessary for doing exercises during practice)
- Open you books. Find page 65 exercise 1. (Do it orally. Read, translate the sentences. First, say a Passive variant in mother tongue. Then you may do it in English. Remind pupils about the table of irregular verbs when you make a sentence with such types of verbs.)
- Find exercise 2. (Do it in a written form. Read, translate the sentences. First, say a Passive variant in mother tongue. Then you may do it in English. Remind pupils about the table of irregular verbs when you make a sentence with such types of verbs. Ask orally by one pupil, then ask them to write at the blackboard (jamboard if it is an online-lesson) formed in Present Passive Voice sentences.)
- For hometask, you should learn the rule about Present Passive Voice at page 65 Student’s Book and do exercise 3 in a written form.
- Now, let’s sing a song with transformations from Active into Passive.
