Підсумковий урок з англійської мови у 2 класі за Модулем 2 “Party Time”
Тема: Party Time (Module 2). Revision.
Мета: повторити та узагальнити пройдений лексико-граматичний матеріал (Модуль 2).
Лексичний матеріал:
toys (ball, doll, teddy bear, yo-yo);
party items (present, balloon, cake, lollipop, hat, card, flower);
colours (orange, pink, brown, black, white).
Граматичні структури:
How many (dolls)? – (Two) (dolls).
What are those? – They’re (lollipops).
What colour are they? – They’re (pink).
Are they (lollipops)? – Yes, they are. / No, they aren’t.
Очікувані результати
Учень / учениця:
- розпізнає назви подарунків (ball, doll, teddy bear, yo-yo), предметів для організації та проведення свята (present, balloon, cake, lollipop, hat, card, flower) та кольорів (orange, pink, brown, black, white) в знайомому контексті та в супроводі малюнків;
- розуміє короткі прості запитання та твердження про предмети у множині (How
many (dolls)? – (Two) (dolls). What are those? – They’re (lollipops). What colour are
they? – They’re (pink). Are they (lollipops)? – Yes, they are. / No, they aren’t.);
- ставить і відповідає на запитання за малюнками про предмети у множині;
- описує свій стан короткими фразами.

Lesson Procedure
I.
1. Greetings.
T: Good morning, dear students. It’s time to start our lesson.

2. Warm up.
A Chain Drill (A Ball Game).
T: How are you today? Hold up your mood cards, please.
Now pass the ball and ask each other about your mood: How are you? – I’m (fine).
3. Announcing the topic of the lesson and the learning outcomes.
T: Look at the picture on the screen.
What can you see? (a party). What is our topic? (Party Time).
Today we have a Revision Lesson.
Our task for today is to revise vocabulary and grammar from Module 2.
II.
1. Vocabulary Revision
1) Mind Map “Party Time”. (Whole-Class Work).
T: Let’s revise all the words we have learnt.
The teacher shows the flashcards to the class. When students say the word, the teacher sticks the flashcard on the blackboard. All the flashcards are arranged around the central word party time.
2) Writing. Word Puzzles. (Groupwork).
T: Let’s make up words to match with the pictures.
The class is divided into groups. Each group gets two tasks to perform: to unjumble the word and to fill in the missing letters in the word.
Group 1: albl (ball), p_ _s_ _t (present).
Group 2: akec (cake), b_ _l_ _n (balloon).
Group 3: oldl (doll), l_ _l_ _ _p (lollipop).
Group 4: ath (hat), t_ _ _y b_ _r (teddy bear).

Then students from each group come to the board, read their words and stick them under the corresponding flashcards.

3) Speaking. Making up dialogues. (Pairwork).
T: Work in pairs and make up short dialogues on the pictures you have.
Students work in pairs asking each other questions on the pictures. Then 2-3 pairs are asked to perform their dialogues in front of the class.
