Конспект уроку з англійської мови у 2 класі

Тема: Групи тварин

Мета: Навчити застосовувати вивчений лексико-граматичний матеріал на практиці. Закріпити здобуті уміння та навички.

 Розвивати увагу, пам’ять; навички аналізу та узагальнення, пізнавальний інтерес, комунікативні здібності учнів.

 Виховувати дбайливе ставлення до тварин, гуманні якості особистості учнів. Виховувати культуру спілкування.

Тип уроку: урок практичного застосування знань, навичок і умінь.

Наочність: роздатковий матеріал, ілюстративний матеріал, презентація PowerPoint, аудіо та відео матеріал, ІКТ

Хід уроку

І. Оргмомент.

T: Good morning! Good morning!

 And how do you do?

Ps: Good morning! Good morning!

I am fine. How are you?

ІІ. Warming-up.

 “Hello!”-song.

іти стають у коло, виконують вправи та співають пісню “Hello, hello! Let’s shake hands!”)

III. Оголошення теми та мети уроку.

Т: One by one take a piece of paper from the bag. Children with the yellow circles go to desk on the left. Your group will be “The Cats”. Those ones with the red squares please go to desk on the right. You will be “The Tigers”. Now each group should choose a captain.

What do you think we are going to talk about today? On your desks you can see a puzzle. If you solve it you will be able to answer my question.

T: You are right. Today we are going to speak about animals. What kind of animals do we know?

Ps: Wild animals and farm animals. Pets.

T: Yes. And the topic of our lesson is Animal Groups.

We will review the names of the animals we’ve learnt, both wild and farm. We will help the animals to escape from the cage. We will play games, sing and dance and will do a lot of other interesting things. Here it is a plan of our lesson. You can see it on the blackboard.

1. Phonetic exercise.

T: Listen to the story and repeat the animals’ sounds.

A Little Chick comes out of an egg and says, “Cheep-cheep”. And he wants to find his Mummy. So he walks and walks and walks and meets a Mouse. “Are you my Mummy?” But the Mouse says, “Squeak-squeak. No, I am not your Mummy.” And he walks and walks and walks and meets a Cat. “Are you my Mummy?” But the Cat says, “Mew-mew. No, I am not your Mummy.” And he walks and walks and walks and meets a Dog. “Are you my Mummy?” But the Dog says, “Woof-woof. No, I am not your Mummy.” And he walks and walks and walks and meets a Duck. “Are you my Mummy?” But the Duck says, “Quack-quack. No, I am not your Mummy.” And he walks and walks and walks and meets a Pig. “Are you my Mummy?” But the Pig says, “Oink-oink. No, I am not your Mummy.” And he walks and walks and walks and meets a Cow. “Are you my Mummy?” But the Cow says, “Moo-moo. No, I am not your Mummy.” And he walks and walks and walks and meets a Sheep. “Are you my Mummy?” But the Sheep says, “Ba-a-ba-a. No, I am not your Mummy.” And he walks and walks and walks and finally meets a Chicken. “Are you my Mummy?” And the Chicken says, “Cluck-cluck. Yes, I am your Mummy.” And they happily live together.

2.Vocabulary.

a) T: And our first task is to name as many animals as we know both wild and farm. For each word I’ll give you a piece of my heart. And then we will count them.

T: Well done. Now let’s count the hearts you’ve got from me. Now you see how many animals you know. Great job!

b) T: I have to tell you something. A very-very angry monster put all those animals in one cage and it is very dangerous for the farm animals to live together with the wild animals. Let’s help them. On your desk there is a box with the mixed animals. Take them out and sort out the animals. Tigers, please choose only the wild animals. Cats, please choose only the farm animals.

T: Are you ready? Then let’s check. Who wants to name the wild animals? I ask the captains to choose a person who will name the animals.

P1: a zebra, a hippo, a parrot, a snake, a bear, a tiger, a crocodile, an elephant, a giraffe, a kangaroo, a lion, a wolf.

T: Great job! And now let’s name the farm animals.

P2: a duck, a mouse, sheep, a cow, a pig, a dog, a chicken, a horse, a rabbit, a goat,

a goose, a cat.

T: Well done!

T: So we can divide all animals into the wild and farm ones. But there are other animal groups as well. What are they?

Ps: Birds, sea and river animals, mammals, reptiles.

T: What reptiles do you know?

Ps: a crocodile, a snake, a lizard

T: And what birds do you know?

Ps: a goose, a parrot, a flamingo, a penguin, a duck, a chicken.

T: What animals live in the sea?

P2: a shark, a dolphin, a penguin, an octopus.

3. Break.

T: You’ve done well today and helped the animals to escape. I bet you are tired now so let’s have a short break. Stand up, please and let’s do the “Baby Shark”.

4. Grammar.

T: Do you remember my friends who are very kind but always argue? The one always says “Yes, yes, yes”. Repeat. And this one says “No, no, no”. Repeat.

Is it a tiger? Yes, it is. Is it a lion? No, it is not. Repeat.

T: Now we’ll play a guessing game. I’ll think of an animal and your task is to guess the animal by asking questions.

T: And there is another guessing game for you. Listen to the animal sound and guess the animal.

T: Find a pair and talk to each other asking the same kind of questions.

T: And there is another task for you. Ask your friend from another group if he likes the animals or not. Start your question with his name.

T: Great job! You’ve done well today.

IV. Підведення підсумків. Рефлексія.

T: We’ve done lot of work today:

-we reviewed the names of the animals;

-we reviewed the animal groups;

-we played games;

-we sang and danced.

T: And now I want you to tell me if you liked the lesson or not. There are three smiles on the blackboard: “I liked”, “I don’t know”, “It was not interesting”. Choose a smile and stick a pin.

T: Unfortunately it’s time to say good bye. And we will do this in an “animal” way. Stand up, please. The lesson is over.

T: Bye-bye, crocodile!
