Topic: A Fashion Show. Are You a Fashion Victim? Grammar: I look awful. I don't care much about. Objective: SWBAT
a) act out a fashion show;
b) give advice on appearance and clothes problems.
c) expess their attitude to fashion victims.
Procedure
• Game "Roundtable".
(Pupils make groups of 5. Each group gets a piece of paper and one felt-pen for the whole group. Our first model... is wearing ...

6. Relaxation.
• Poem "Stand up and look around".
7. Practice.
• We all like some things about our looks and sometimes we are
critical of others. This is what some children wrote about themselves
in "Liza" magazine.
a. T think it's important to look great. T like to take care of my
hair. It looks cool. I like wearing the latest fashions. I hate
others look awful. I'm much taller than other girls in my
class. So what? I don't want to compare myself to others.
b. I'm 12 years old and I look really awful. I don't know
what to do with my horrible hair. I hate the ugliest nose in
the world. 1 want to look like all the models in your
magazine, but I don't. I think I'm too fat and I'm always
worried about how I look. What should I do?
c. I don't much notice how people look. I just like them or not. My friends say "He looks cool" or "She is good -looking", but I don't know. I don't care much about clothes and I never wear bright clothes.
• Now, guess which one is: a, b or c?
8. Production.
• Work in pairs. Say why the children feel this way? Mind: that's why
- TOMy, because - TOMy mo.
... that's why she feels happy. (1 st pair)
... is worried because .... (2 nd)
... that's why she is upset. (3 rd)
... doesn't care much about his clothes that is why... (4 th)

Pam, Bob and Laura.
9. Homework: Which advice will you follow? Write your advice for the
children.
