Obiective:

By the end of the lesson, students will be able to understand the importance of good health and explain why it is more valuable than wealth.

Assessment:

Students will complete a drawing activity where they illustrate and explain why good health is more impoltant than wealth. They will present their drawings to the class and verbally explain then reasomng.

Key Points :

*         Good health is not only about physical well-being but also includes mental and emotional health.

*         Wealth can be lost or can become meaningless without good health.

*         Good health allows us to enjoy life, pursue our dreams, and have meaningful relationships.

Opening:

The teacher will start the lesson by showing a picture of a healthy person and a wealthy person. The teacher will ask the students to obsewe the picture and discuss with their classmates what they notice about the two people. The teacher will then ask the question, "Which do you think is more valuable, good health or wealth? Why?" This will engage students and capture their interest in the topic.

Introduction to New Material:

imageThe teacher will introduce the concept of good health and explain that it goes beyond physical wellbeing. The teacher will use visual aids, such as images and short videos, to help students understand different aspects of good health, including mental and emotional well-being. The teacher will also address the common misconception that money can buy good health.

Guided Practice:

Students will present their drawings and explanations to the class, promoting public speaking skills and reinforcing their understanding of the topic.

Closing:

As a homework activity, students can MTite a short reflection on how they will prioritize their health over material possessions. They can also brainstorm and plan one action they will take to improve their health.
