Presentation of the new lesson
|
- T explains students that Question tags are short questions that we add at the end of a sentence in spoken English and sometimes in informal writing. They can be used to ask for agreement and confirmation. - T also explains that a positive sentence asks a negative question tag ( the same verb) and a negative sentence asks a positive question tag. Some examples are written on the board. Ss are also explained that the intonation is very important in these question tags. -Ss’ attention is drawn on : I am happy, aren’t I?
