Мета гри. Розвивати мову учнів, узагальнити знання, здобуті на уроках англійської мови, розвивати вміння працювати в колективі та приймати спільне рішення, виховувати повагу до різних країн.

Оформлення. Телевізор, ноутбук, презентація, картки, кросворд, мухобійки, емблеми команд, солодкі подарунки, грамоти.

Хід заняття

1. Організаційний момент. Привітання ведучого.

Teacher: Good afternoon, children and our guests! I’m very glad to see you here. Now we shall organize a competition called "The cleverest”. Two teams will take part in a game of the most quick-witted and the cleverest. It’s time to introduce yourselves. Who is the captain of the 1st team?

P1: I’m the captain of the team. The name of our team is «Rainbow».

Teacher: Who is the captain of the 2nd team?

P2: I’m the captain of the team. The name of our team is "Stars”.

Teacher: Today all of you have a good chance to improve your English during the game. Now I’m going to teach you how to play this game.  Well, I wish you success. Be active, honest and helpful!

2. Основний етап.

Teacher: And now we come to the 1st contest of the game called " Connect the puzzle ”.

Teacher: And now we come to the 2nd contest which is called "
Decoder”.

Teacher: The 3rd contest is called "Crossword”. I need 1 pupil from each team.

Teacher: Our next contest is called «Fly swatter»

Teacher: Attention, please! The 5th contest is called "Hidden words”. This round is for the captains. Find, please, the animals.

3. Заключна частина. Підсумок заходу.  

Teacher: The score is… and the team( …. ) is the winner.

I hope that friendship has won. Everyone and both teams had wonderful answers and played very well. Thank you for your work. Our competition is over and the winner today is team … The prize for the winner is the Diploma. All of you got marks. Our show is over. Good-bye!
